Shelter Island Fall 5k

Out Running Cancer for 27 years!

The 3.1-mile Shelter Island Fall 5K course is a challenging, scenic course along tree-lined streets featuring rolling hills and finishing with panoramic waterfront views along Crescent Beach. The Shelter Island Fall 5k was created out of love and memory for those who have fought and those currently fighting breast and women's cancers. Our mission is to raise funds and awareness for our beneficiaries: The North Fork Breast Health Coalition, The Coalition for Women's Cancers and Lucia's Angels. All race proceeds for our beneficiaries go directly to patient care for women on the east end of Long Island.

• Address: 35 Shore Road, Shelter Island NY 11965
• Registration: Same Day registration closes at 10:30 AM, please allow extra time for fall traffic and the ferries.

Giveaways and Post Race Barbecue

• T-shirt: Registration includes a free t-shirt to the first 400 runners.
• Finisher Medal: Participants will receive a finisher medal.
• Barbecue: Complimentary post race barbecue with homemade chili and cookies while supplies last.

Race Transportation

A complimentary shuttle will run from the Shelter Island North and South Ferry terminals to the race from 9 AM to 1PM, with all activities held in the parking lot of Sunset Beach Hotel at 35 Shore Road, Shelter Island, NY.

Race Raffle

Buy a ticket for our raffle! Raffle prizes include gift cards to local shops and restaurants, including The American Hotel, Vine Street Cafe, Leallo apparel & Bliss' Dept Store, a round of golf at Gardiner's Bay Country Club, Shelter Island Pilates and Barre classes and many more items.
