Register today for the 21st Annual Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, New Mexico Chips and Salsa Half Marathon, along with the 10K, 5K, Kids K, and Virtual Run. This exciting event is one you won’t want to miss! Join hundreds of participants on the new, fast, flat loop course that winds through the scenic North Valley and Los Ranchos de Albuquerque.

There's no better time to visit Albuquerque, with the State Fair, hot air balloons, and the aroma of fresh chile in the air. The NM Chips and Salsa Half Marathon features age group and overall awards, including custom finisher medals for all half marathon participants and great shirts for everyone involved!

Location: Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute, 9169 Coors. Blvd. NW, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87120
Date: September 14, 2025
Half Marathon Start Time: 7:00 am (3.5 Hour Cut-off)
Note: All participants should arrive before 6:30 am to park and be at the start on time.

🏃 Runner Packet Pickup and Registration

September 13, 2025, 11:00 am – 3:00 pm at Fleet Feet Sports, North Towne Plaza, 5901 Wyoming Suite R, Albuquerque NM 87109.

Race-Day Registration: Available, but all pre-registered participants must pick up their event packets.
Authorization: If you cannot pick up your packets in person, arrange for a representative.
Shipping: Virtual Run/Walk participants who purchased shipping will receive their swag starting September 8, 2025.
Flexible Participation: Registered participants may complete their event any time between September 6 and 14, 2025.

🕒 Event Day Schedule

Half Marathon: 7:00 am (3.5 Hour Cut-off)
5K: 7:30 am
10K: 7:40 am
Kids K: 9:00 am

🏆 Results and Awards

All finishers will receive a Chips and Salsa Half Marathon Finisher Medal. Awards will be presented at the Awards Ceremony on race day at 9:30 am.

Overall Awards: Top 3 men and women in various age groups.
Participation: All participants 11 and under can join in the Kids K.
Virtual Participants: May complete their runs at their convenience between September 6 and 14, 2025.
Awards Collection: Must be picked up on race day: medals will not be mailed.

🚨 Participant Safety Guidelines

To ensure everyone’s safety, all participants must adhere to the following rules:

Conduct: Maintain professionalism: alcohol and public misconduct will lead to disqualification.
Health Guidelines: Those feeling sick should not attend.
Medical Assistance: Medical staff will be ready at the finish line and along the course.
Equipment: No wheeled devices except for authorized participants: strollers allowed on the 5K course only.

Headphones: Allowed, except for competitive athletes.
Packet Pickup: A friend can pick up packets if you cannot attend.
Lost Items: A Lost & Found will be available on race day.
Refund Policy: No refunds or transfers will be permitted: all entries are non-refundable.
