Register today for the 21st Annual Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, New Mexico Chips and Salsa Half Marathon, along with the 10K, 5K, Kids K, and Virtual Run. This exciting event is one you won’t want to miss! Join hundreds of participants on the new, fast, flat loop course that winds through the scenic North Valley and Los Ranchos de Albuquerque.

There's no better time to visit Albuquerque, with the State Fair, hot air balloons, and the aroma of fresh chile in the air. The NM Chips and Salsa Half Marathon features age group and overall awards, including custom finisher medals for all half marathon participants and great shirts for everyone involved!

• Event Location: Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute, 9169 Coors. Blvd. NW, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87120
• Event Schedule: September 14, 2025
• Half Marathon Start: 7:00 am (3.5 Hour Cut-off)
• 5K Start: 7:30 am: 10K Start: 7:40 am: Kids K Start: 9:00 am

NOTE: ALL PARTICIPANTS SHOULD ARRIVE BEFORE 6:30 am TO PARK AND BE AT THE START ON TIME.

🎽 Runner Packet Pickup

Runner packet pickup and late registration on September 13, 2025, from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm at:

FLEET FEET SPORTS, North Towne Plaza, 5901 Wyoming Suite R, Albuquerque NM 87109.

PLEASE NOTE: RACE-DAY REGISTRATION IS AVAILABLE: HOWEVER, ALL PRE-REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS MUST PICK UP THEIR EVENT PACKETS AT "PACKET PICKUP."

If you cannot pick up your packets in person, you must arrange for a representative to do so. Out-of-town participants may pick up their packets on race morning at the registration area located on the north side of SIPI next to the finish.

🏅 Course Information

Participants must follow the event's rules and guidelines for a safe racing experience. Review the course before the event and check the course map at www.irunfit.org.

🏆 Awards and Prizes

The overall and division award winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on race day at 9:30 am – immediately following the Kids K. Please note that awards and medals must be picked up on race day and will not be mailed.

• Half Marathon: Custom finisher medals for all participants
• 10K: Awards for the top 3 men and women
• 5K: Age group prizes for top three finishers
• Kids K: All participants will receive a special recognition award at the finish

• Can I run with headphones? Yes, except for those competing for prizes.
• Can a friend pick up my packet? Yes, a friend can pick up your packet.
• Can I defer my entry? No, entries cannot be deferred.
• Are dogs allowed on the course? No, dogs are not permitted on SIPI property.

🌧️ Inclement Weather Policy

The Race Director will monitor weather conditions, and any necessary adjustments to the race will be communicated to participants. Severe weather updates will also be sent via email. Please prepare accordingly.

🚑 Medical Support

Medical staff will be present to assist participants. If you have a health concern, please do not hesitate to ask for help. Participants are responsible for notifying race officials if they cannot finish the race.
