🏃‍♂️ RAD DASH 5K Overview

The RAD Dash 5K is being held to recognize the vital role of medical imaging professionals and radiation therapists in healthcare. We invite you to run and walk with us to celebrate the vital work done by these healthcare heroes.

Family friendly: bring the kids for the Kids' K.
Course difficulty: Please note that parts of the course are unpaved and sandy, which could be challenging for strollers.
Team sign-up: run with friends and compete against other teams.
Awards: The RAD Dash 5K offers age group, overall, and team awards.

Event Schedule: 5K – 10 a.m., Kids K–11 a.m.
Packet Pickup: Come to packet pickup and explore interactive displays and educational exhibits that trace the progress of medical imaging and radiation therapy.

Note: RACE-DAY REGISTRATION IS AVAILABLE: HOWEVER, ALL PRE-REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO PICK UP THEIR EVENT PACKETS AT "PACKET PICKUP."

📦 Virtual Run/Walk Information

Race Swag: Your race swag will be mailed out Oct. 24. Register by Sept. 13 to receive a race packet. No refunds for virtual race registration.
Shipping: Please include "SHIPPING" before completing your registration online.
Submission: Follow three easy steps to complete your virtual run/walk.
Optional: Steps to submit your time and photos after your run/walk.

🚗 Parking Information

Please park in the designated parking areas located at Bosque School. DO NOT PARK ON BOSQUE SCHOOL ROAD—plenty of parking available.

🔔 Start Information

All races will start promptly at the designated times listed above. Allow plenty of time to get to the Start to seed yourself according to your projected pace. Bib numbers must be visible and worn on the front of all clothing—just above the waist—during the race to be seen.

❓ Race Requirements

Each participant will receive a Race (Bib) number that must be worn on race day. Bib numbers are not transferable and MUST be worn by the runner to whom they are assigned.

🤔 Frequently Asked Questions

Headphones: Yes, but athletes competing for prizes cannot use electronic devices such as headphones and earpieces.
GPS Devices: Yes, participants may wear their GPS devices.
Prohibited Items: The use of video devices, cell phones, computers, cameras, or other devices by participants is prohibited.
Lost & Found: We will have a Lost & Found for any lost items on race day.

🌧️ Inclement Weather Policy

Weather forecasts will be monitored before the event. Severe weather updates will also be sent to participants via email as necessary. Please listen closely to all public address announcements at the race's starting line.

🚑 Medical Support

Medical staff members will be available to assist you at any time. Event officials can withdraw any runner from the race if they appear distressed or at risk.

🎉 Awards

Overall prizes will be awarded to the top three men and women determined by gun time. Age group prizes will be given to the top three finishers in various categories.

👶 Kids K

All registered participants (11 and under) are eligible to participate in the Kids K, which starts at 10 a.m. At the finish, all participants will receive a special recognition award.
