🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The RAD Dash 5K is being held to recognize the vital role of medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals in health care. We invite you to run and walk with us to celebrate the vital work done by these health care heroes.

💻 Virtual Participation Details

Virtual participants registering after Sept. 13 have a lower registration fee because they will not receive a t-shirt or race packet. ASRT will email a celebratory RAD Dash 5k certificate of participation.

• Date: Nov. 8, 2025
• 5K Start Time: 10 a.m.
• Kids K Start Time: 11 a.m.

🎟️ Packet Pickup and Late Registration

Come to Packet Pickup and explore interactive displays and educational exhibits that trace the progress of medical imaging and radiation therapy. Enjoy a free tour of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists Museum and Archives.

• Packet Pickup Location: ASRT Museum and Archives, 15000 Central Ave SE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87123
• Packet Pickup Schedule: Nov. 7, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
• Race Day Registration: Available, but pre-registered participants are highly encouraged to pick up their event packets.
• Alternate Pickup: If unable to pick up in person, arrange for a representative to collect your packet.

🅿️ Race Day Parking

Please park in the designated parking areas at Bosque School. Do not park on Bosque School Road. There is plenty of parking available.

🏁 Start Information

• Chip and Bib Pickup: Must be picked up at Packet Pickup or race morning.
• Visibility: Bib number must be visible and worn on the front of all clothing.
• Start Time: All races will start promptly at designated times.
• Seeding: Arrive early to seed yourself according to your projected pace.

🌍 Virtual Walk/Run (Only)

Your race swag will be mailed out on Oct. 24. Offer valid in the United States of America only.

• Packet Mailing: Ensure you enter your mailing address when registering.
• Registration: Include "SHIPPING" before completing your online registration.
• Completion Steps: Follow the steps provided to submit your race results.
• Optional Steps: Steps 2 and 3 (emailing results and submitting a selfie) are optional.

🏆 Prizes and Awards

5K

• Overall Prizes: Top three men and women determined by gun time.
• Age Group Prizes: Top three finishers in specified age categories.
• Team Prizes: Awarded to the team with the most participants.

Virtual 5K

• Random Prizes: Awarded to virtual participants based on the number of entries.
• Social Media Awards: Best post/essay using #RadDash25 will receive prizes.

Kids K

• Eligibility: All registered participants, ages 11 and under.
• Recognition: All participants will receive a special recognition award.

🍔 Post Race and Results

Refreshments will be held near the finish. Results will be posted immediately after the event near the finish as well as online at www.IRunFit.org

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

• Headphones: Yes, allowed but not for competitive participants.
• GPS Devices: Yes, participants may wear GPS devices.
• Prohibited Items: Video devices, mobile phones, and wheeled devices are not allowed.
• Lost & Found: A Lost & Found will be available for misplaced items.

☔ Inclement Weather Policy

Weather forecasts will be monitored prior to the event. Severe weather updates will be posted online and communicated via email. Adjustments may include altering start times or cancellation in extreme conditions.

🚑 Medical Support

Medical staff members will be available at any time. Event officials can withdraw any runner if they appear distressed. Please report any injuries or medical issues to event officials.
