🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The RAD Dash 5K is being held to recognize the vital role of medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals in health care. We invite you to run and walk with us to celebrate the vital work done by these health care heroes.

📅 RAD Dash 5K Walk/Run Schedule

• Date: Nov. 8, 2025
• 5K Start Time: 10 a.m.
• Kids K Start Time: 11 a.m.
• Pre-event Arrival: Arrive 10-15 minutes before start time.

🏅 Packet Pickup and Late Registration

Come to Packet Pickup and explore interactive displays and educational exhibits that trace the progress of medical imaging and radiation therapy. Enjoy a free tour of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists Museum and Archives.

• Time: 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm

🚗 Race Day Parking

Please park in the designated parking areas at Bosque School. Do not park on Bosque School Road. There is plenty of parking available.

🔔 Start Information

Timing chip and bibs must be picked up at Packet Pickup or the race morning. All participants must wear a chip and bib.

• Bibs: Must be visible and worn on the front of all clothing.
• Start Times: All races will start promptly at the designated times listed above.
• Pacing: Seed yourself according to your projected pace.
• Arrival: Plan to arrive early if you are driving to the race.

🌐 Virtual Walk/Run (Only)

Your race swag will be mailed out on Oct. 24. Offer valid in the United States of America only. Register by Sept. 13 for a race packet. There are no refunds for virtual race registration.

1. Record Your Time: Walk or run before November 9, 2025.
2. Email Your Time: Send your race completion time to stephenpino@:hotmail.com.
3. Share a Selfie: Post on RunFit Facebook.

Please note: Steps 2 and 3 are optional.

🏆 Prizes and Awards

5K

• Overall Prizes: Awarded to the top three men and women determined by gun time.
• Age Group Prizes: Top three finishers in specified categories.
• Team Prizes: Awarded to the team with the most participants.

Virtual 5K

• Random Prizes: Awarded depending on the number of participants.
• Social Media Prizes: Awarded for the best social media post using #RadDash25.

Kids K

All registered participants, ages 11 and under, can participate in the Kids K, which starts at 11 a.m. At the finish, all participants will receive a special recognition award.

🍉 Post Race and Results

Refreshments will be held near the finish. Results will be posted immediately after the event near the finish as well as online at www.IRunFit.org.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

• iPod/Headphones: Yes, but not for prize competitors.
• GPS Device: Allowed but not recognized as official timing.
• Prohibited Items: Video devices, wheeled devices (exceptions apply).
• Lost & Found: Available for race day items, call 505-217-4774.

🌩️ Inclement Weather Policy

Weather forecasts will be monitored leading up to the event. Participants will be informed of severe weather predictions on the Run Fit website and via email. Possible changes include altering start times or event cancellation.

⚕️ Medical Support

Medical staff will be available during the event. Please notify a race official if you experience health issues or cannot finish the race.
