Kick off 2027 with one of Hilton Head Island's most exciting New Year's Day traditions! Join us at Coligny Beach for the Island Head Polar Plunge & 5K, a morning of fitness, fun, community, and giving back.

Whether you're looking to start the year with a scenic 5K along Hilton Head's beautiful beaches, brave the chilly Atlantic Ocean for the annual Polar Plunge, or simply cheer on friends and family, there's something for everyone!

Event Schedule
9:30 AM – Beach 5K: Start the year strong with a beautiful 3.1-mile run along the beach.
10:15 AM – Giveaway: Stick around for your chance to win exciting prizes!
11:00 AM – Polar Plunge: Take the ultimate New Year's Day challenge and charge into the Atlantic Ocean with hundreds of fellow participants!
