🏃‍♂️ Event Details

A fun and friendly evening FREE 5K on a course winding through the Hammel Woods Forest Preserve in Shorewood. This race will be professionally timed and the results will be posted online.

📅 Date: August 2, 2024

The race will start at 6:00PM at Hammel Woods - Rt 59 Access, Shorewood, IL.

🚗 Directions & Parking

• Entrances: Two entrances to Hammel Woods with parking at Route 59 (554 Brook Forest Road).
• Parking: Limited parking at Route 59: car-pooling encouraged. Additional parking in other preserve lots.
• Exit: Plan to exit by 8:00PM as the park closes at sundown.

🥤 Post-Race Amenities

Water and sports drink provided after the race. Participants can bring their own beverages to share with friends and family.

🏆 Results & Fundraiser

Race results will be posted online in overall and age group formats. The race is organized as a fundraiser with details about donations to be provided later.
