Please join us for the Race for Glory 5K Fun Run & 1-Mile Walk taking place on Saturday, August 29th, 2026, at Buckeye Woods Park.

🎉 Event Hosts

The event is presented by Thomas Schmidt (race director) as well as race board members from The Society: Medina County Special Olympics, Ohio: Integrated Community Solutions and the Knights of Columbus Council #4168.

🔗 Registration Information

• Online Registration: Participants can register online at this website.
• Mail-In Registration: A paper registration form is also included in the tab on this website.

⌚ Race Day Details

• Packet Pick-Up: Registration and packet pick-up begins at 8:00am.
• 5K Start: The 5K begins at 9:00am.
• 1-Mile Walk: The 1-Mile Walk begins immediately following the 5K start.
• Timing: Both races are professionally chip-timed by GCXC Racing - Youngstown.

🏆 Awards

Awards presented to the top 5K male and female runners overall and the top three 5K male and female runners in the following age categories:

• Age Categories: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Up.
