RPEF Sprint for Our Schools 5K & Family Fun Run

Event Overview

• Organizer: The Ramsey Public Education Foundation invites you to join us as we return to our live and in-person annual Sprint For Our Schools 5K & Family Fun Run on Saturday, May 9th, 2026.
• Location: Ramsey Municipal Pool, Ramsey, NJ.

Awards and Prizes

• Overall Prizes: Cash prizes awarded to the overall top three runners.
• Age Group Medals: The top three runners in each age group will receive medals.
• Age Groups: 10 and under, 11-12 years old, 13-18 years old, 19-29 years old, 30-39 years old, 40-49 years old, 50-59 years old, and 60 and over.

Race Experience

• Tradition: Sprint For Our Schools has become a tradition in Ramsey.
• Community Event: Bright and early, rain or shine, hundreds of people gather at the Municipal Pool ready to run as a community.
• Excitement: The DJ is playing music. The energy level is high. Our sponsors are in attendance.
• Course Options: Runners can choose between the traditional 5K course or the 1 mile Family Fun Run route.

Packet Pickup Information

• Friday Pickup: May 8th from 11:30 AM - 2:00 PM or 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM at the Ramsey Pool – 75 E Oak St, Ramsey, NJ 07446 (times are subject to change).
• Race Day Pickup: Saturday, May 9th beginning at 7:00 AM at the Registration table, outside the Ramsey Pool.
