About the Race

• Benefit: All proceeds from the race will benefit The Lance Purschke Memorial Scholarship Fund.
• Course: A beautiful, rolling course through the streets of Union with a challenging finish at the top of Autumn Hill.
• Start Times: The 10K and 5K runners will start at the same time.
• Distance: The 5K is a single loop course: the 10K runs an additional 3 miles through Union.

Aid and Awards

• Aid Stations: Provided along the 5K and 10K routes.
• Post Race: Refreshments will also be provided.
• Timing: 10K and 5K (ish) are chip timed events.
• Medals: Awards will be given for the 10K and 5K: the 2K (1.2 mile) fun run/walk will not be officially timed and no medals will be provided.

Special Feature

• Voluntary Piggyback: Runners can carry someone piggyback up the hill to the finish line.
• No Requirement: The piggyback portion is completely voluntary and does not affect the finish.
• Participants: The person being carried does not have to be a registered participant.
• Finisher Swag: Runners who piggyback will receive an extra piece of finisher swag. More details are available on the FAQ page.

• Early-bird Registration: February 24, 2026 - March 5, 2026
• Standard Registration: March 6, 2026 - August 31, 2026
• Late Registration: September 1, 2026 - Race Day
• Shirt Guarantee: Registrations submitted after August 31, 2026 are NOT GUARANTEED A SHIRT.

• Dog Policy: No dogs allowed in the race except for service dogs.
