Tulip Trot for Parkinson’s Disease Awareness 5K Run/Walk

🌷 Tulip Trot Overview

PDEVV Hub is hosting its 4th Annual Tulip Trot for Parkinson’s Disease Awareness, on April 25, 2026, at Garvin Park 1600 N Main St. in Evansville with the timed 5k starting at 8:00AM and the 1-mile walk beginning at 9:00AM. All events will be rain or shine. We also offer a virtual option for those unable to attend in person.

🌼 Purpose and Significance

Organized to take place in Parkinson’s Awareness Month of April and named for the official flower of Parkinson’s disease, the tulip. The Tulip Trot allows PDEVV Hub to provide people with Parkinson’s, their family members, health care workers, and interested individuals in our tristate area with information about PD and the available local PD resources.

• Exhibit Tent Opens: 7:30 AM
• 5K Run: 8:00 AM
• 1-Mile Walk: 9:00 AM
• Shirt & Bib Pickup: April 24, 2026, 5-7 PM & April 25, 2026, beginning at 7 AM

🏅 Awards and Recognition

Awards for Top 3 Males/Females in 5K Run.

👕 Virtual Participation

• Sign Up: Run or walk on your own and receive a t-shirt.
• Shipping: $10.40 for shipping
• T-Shirt Availability: For those registering by April 17, 2026, shirts are guaranteed: otherwise not.
• Shipping for Virtual Participants: For those registered by April 18, shirts will be mailed on Monday, April 27.
