🎗️ Event Overview

• History: Zeta Tau Alpha’s chapter at the University of Virginia has hosted our annual Run for Life 5K in Charlottesville, Virginia every year for the past 28 years.
• Cause: Our race benefits the Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation to fund scholarships, educational programming, leadership development and our fight against breast cancer.
• Partnerships: We partner with Bright Pink, the NFL, the American Cancer Society, and locally with the UVA Breast Care Center.
• Impact: In years past, we have attracted approximately 1000 participants and raised nearly $30,000 for breast cancer each year.

🌸 Why Participate?

• Awareness: Breast cancer affects 1 in 8 women in the United States.
• Inspiration: Help inspire hope for a cure while maintaining our education efforts.
• Date: This year’s race will take place on April 20th.
• Location: The race will be hosted at Madison Bowl, adjacent to UVA Grounds, located between Rugby Rd and Madison Ln.

🏅 Virtual Participation

• Remote Option: If you're not able to make it in person, we invite you to run the race in your hometown.
• Leaderboard: Simply upload your times on this website and you will be ranked on the leaderboard.
