Charlottesville Summer Trail Running Series

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Come join us for the extra special 10th annual Charlottesville Summer Trail Running Series! This is a fun, relaxed, low-cost summer trail running series with 4 trail races from 5K to 5-miles in distance, all in the Charlottesville/Crozet area. In addition to individual race prizes, there will be overall and top age group finisher prizes for the series, based upon cumulative time from all 4 races.

👕 Finisher Shirts

• Complete all 4 races: Runners will receive a Summer Series Finisher technical running shirt at the last race.
• Complete 3 out of 4 races: Runners will receive a cotton finishers shirt.
• Registration requirement: Runners must register for the series in advance to be eligible for the Series Finisher Shirt.
• First race t-shirt: All runners will receive a t-shirt for the first race.

🏆 Age Group Awards

There will also be age group awards for both men and women in the top three in the following age groups for each race as well as for the entire series: Kids 12-U, 13-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. The series races sell out every year and we continue to expect high demand this year, so register now!

🚫 Race Restrictions

• Dogs: Sorry, no dogs in any of the races.
• Refund policy: No refunds after May 1st.

• Mint Springs Trail 5k (formerly Crozet Running Trail 5k) - Saturday May 3rd, 8:00am, Mint Springs Valley Park, Crozet
• O-Hilly Trail 5k - Tuesday June 3rd, 7:00pm, O-Hill, Charlottesville
• Boar's Head Turn and Burn (5 miles) - Saturday July 12th, 7:30am, Boar's Head Resort, Charlottesville
• Late Summer Meltdown 4-Miler - Tuesday August 12th, 7:00pm, Pen Park, Charlottesville

💰 Registration Costs

The cost for the entire 4-race series is just $65, or $55 for paid CATs members. Kids 12 and under are $35. You will receive a series finisher shirt, a t-shirt for the Mint Springs Trail 5k, the Summer Series BBQ/Cookout at the last race, as well as other finisher awards and top finisher awards throughout the series!
