About RAM

• Organization: Remote Area Medical (RAM) is a nonprofit that provides free healthcare through mobile clinics.
• Services: They offer medical, dental, and vision services to underserved and uninsured individuals.
• Impact: Since 1985, RAM has treated over 940,000 individuals, delivering more than $200 million worth of free care.

Our Mission

• Goal: To promote RAM’s mission and host a biennial free clinic in Fishersville, VA.
• Community Effort: We need your help, as hosting a clinic costs approximately $25,000.
• Previous Clinics: Our inaugural clinic in November 2022 served over 500 patients and provided $250,000 in care.
• Continued Success: Our second clinic in April 2024 served over 400 patients and provided $225,000 in free healthcare.

Event Details

• Results: All in-person participants will have their timing results available online after the race.
• Refreshments: Participants will receive refreshments and a T-shirt on race day while supplies last.
• Prizes: The top three finishers will receive prizes donated by local Charlottesville businesses.
• Schedule: Bib and T-shirt pickup starts at 12:30 PM. Participants must start by 1:15 PM and finish by 2:30 PM.

• Pricing: Register early to avoid price increases after March 2, 2025.
• Participation: Join us in-person or virtually to support the cause.
• Impact: All proceeds will help fund our next clinic to serve the Charlottesville community.
