5k USA: Celebrating VA250

Run for a reason! Participate in the 2026 5K USA250 to support the Albemarle County Police Foundation, with 100% of net proceeds directly funding outreach programs that foster trust and positive relationships between our officers and neighbors. This walk/run event is the perfect pairing for runners and wine lovers alike—your chance to run or walk an exclusive 5K at the largest vineyard in Virginia, Trump Winery. The course winds through our breathtaking 1,300-acre estate and 210 acres of vines. Top off your morning with a celebratory glass of our Red, White & Blueberry Cider or a glass of wine at our exclusive finish line party.

Registration is extremely limited with only 200 spots available.

When you register for the 5K USA250, you take an important step in supporting The ACPF and its mission to provide meaningful programs that benefit the Albemarle County Police Department and its officers. These initiatives help strengthen public safety while preserving the freedom and well-being of our community.

Stay With Us! Complete your race weekend with a stay at Albemarle Estate, a 11 bedroom, 26,000 square foot Bed and Breakfast at Trump Winery. Whether you are joining us to run the race or support a participant, Albemarle Estate is the perfect venue for your luxury accommodations.

Start/Finish: Trump Winery Barn and Pavilion

Race will be held rain or shine

Registration Fee: $65

 The 5K USA250 features:

• 5K (3.1 miles) through the Trump Winery Estate and Vineyard
• Course is multi-surface including paved road, gravel, and grass with rolling hills and a steep inclines
• Entertainment at the start/finish line
• After party at the finish line including music, wine, cider, and awards

 

Race participants in the 5K USA250 will receive:         

• Race logo finisher glass
• Participant gift bag with gifts from our sponsors 
• Personalized bib with tracking chip (must register by March 18th for name to appear on bib)*
• Glass of cider or wine following the race at the Trump Winery Pavilion**
• On-course and post-race refreshments

 

The event is limited to 200 participants. Registration will close once sold out and is non-refundable or non-transferable. Fee does not include the Active.com processing fee.

* Participants must attend Packet Pick-up at the Trump Winery Barn to receive their race bib and runner gift bag.  Finisher wine glasses will be distributed to finishers following the event. None of these items will be mailed to registrants that did not participate.
