Race Description

• Event Type: Annual Strides for Education Hybrid 5K Run/Walk, featuring a FLAT, FAST course through the streets of Morris Plains.
• Beneficiary: Organized by the EFMP, race proceeds benefit all students in the Morris Plains School District.
• Participation: This year's race will be a hybrid event (in-person and virtual), allowing participants to join on race day or run at their own location/time.
• Unique Giveaway: Register by October 3rd to be guaranteed your unique race giveaway.

Mission

• Why We Run: The Education Foundation of Morris Plains raises money for the Morris Plains School District, benefiting all students.
• Funding: This year, funds will support innovative programs for Mountain Way and Borough Schools.

Participation Options

• Hybrid Event: Join on race day in-person or participate remotely at your own time on October 25th.
• Team Challenge: Register as a team to have fun and raise your organization's profile: the largest teams will win prizes.
• T-Shirt Pickup: All participants must arrive early on race day to pick up your t-shirt and bib with RFID Chip.

Financial Aid

• Fee Coverage: The EFMP will cover the registration fee for students and families with financial need.
