About Lily Butler

Lily was more than an exceptional student and gifted distance runner at Providence Grove High School—she was a light to those around her. With unwavering kindness, humility, and a heart for others, she had a way of making everyone feel seen and valued. Though we lost Lily far too soon to an eating disorder at the age of 17, her spirit lives on in this event, which fuels mental health support for those in need through The Oaks Therapeutic Community.

Make 2026 Our Biggest Year Yet!

• Goal: Runners from at least 35 states and beyond!
• Participants: Last year, we had runners from 10 states and an international runner from Sweden.
• Participation: Join us in person or virtually: every step helps raise awareness.
• Impact: Ensures no one has to struggle alone.
