RUN THE PATHS: Run Your First, Race Your Best!

Run the fourth annual Rotary Peachtree City Half Marathon & 5k on January 16, 2027.

EVENT DESCRIPTION

• Course Experience: Experience one of the most scenic and fast Half Marathon and 5K courses you’ll ever run in metro Atlanta. Race through wooded greenspace, on well-marked and supported multi-use paths, giving you every opportunity to run your best.
• First Race: If it’s your first race or you are striving to hit a new Personal Best - your next PB in the 5k or Half Marathon distance starts here.
• Certification: Both the 5k and Half Marathon courses are USATF certified.
• Qualifying Event: The 5k is a qualifying event for the 2027 AJC Peachtree Road Race.

COURSE DETAILS

• Scenic Route: Run on paved multi-use paths that wind through beautiful green spaces, beneath shade trees, past sparkling ponds, and through short tunnels.
• Focus on Racing: Our courses are designed to help you focus on what matters most—your race.
• Support: With abundant directional signage and course marshals guiding you along the route.
• Personal Best: Ideal for runners ready to challenge themselves and chase a new PB.

RACE DATE AND LOCATION

• Date: January 16, 2027
• Start Line: Huddleston Elementary School, 200 McIntosh Trail, Peachtree City, GA 30269
• Finish Line: Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater Complex, 201 McIntosh Trail, Peachtree City, GA 30269
• Start Times: Half Marathon: 8:00 AM, 5K: 8:15 AM

RACE PACKET & SHIRT PICK-UP

• Location: AT: Frederick Brown Jr Amphitheater, 201 McIntosh Trail, Peachtree City, GA US 30269
• Friday: January 15, 2026, 4:00-8:00 PM, packet pick-up and in-person registration.
• Saturday: January 16, 2025, 6:30-7:45 AM, race day packet pick-up and in-person registration.
• Shirts: Shirts and/or sizes may run out! Size exchanges on race day not guaranteed.

AWARDS AND FINISHER MEDALS

• Finisher Medals: All registered runners who complete the half marathon & 5k will receive a unique finisher’s medal immediately after finishing the race.
• Top Finisher Awards: Awards for overall top 3 Male and Female finishers in Open and Masters categories.
• Age Group Medals: Available for top three Male and Female finishers based on chip finish time.
• Ceremony: Award recipients will be announced during the awards ceremony adjacent to the finish area.

PARKING AND ROAD CLOSURES

• Parking A: Park from 6:00 AM and by 7:00 AM at Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater and Huddleston Elementary.
• Parking B: Hella and Mobile Storage (walk, jog, or ride a golf cart shuttle).
• Road Closures: Kelly Dr at Sweetgum Rd and Fishers Luck at McIntosh Trail starting at 6:00 AM.
• Access: Access closes by 7:30 AM: no exceptions.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• No Dogs & Strollers: For the safety of runners, dogs and strollers are not permitted on the route.
• Cancelation Policy: The event will be held rain or shine: no refunds will be provided in case of cancelation.
• Virtual Event: If canceled, all registered runners will be transferred to a virtual event with finisher medals mailed.
