Rotary Peachtree City Half Marathon & 5K

🏃‍♂️ Race Registration

• Certification: Both 5k and Half Marathon courses are USATF certified.
• Qualifier: The 5k is a qualifying event for the 2025 AJC Peachtree Road Race.
• Environment: Enjoy tree-lined golf cart paths, greenspace, lakes, and wildlife.
• Accessibility: Ideal setting for runners of all levels and abilities.

🤝 Purpose

• Support: Your participation will help the Rotary Club of Peachtree City.
• Impact: Funds help improve lives, eradicate disease, and provide essential resources.
• Grants: Contributions made to local nonprofits and the Rotary Foundation.

• Date: January 17, 2026
• Start/Finish Location: 201 McIntosh Trail, Peachtree City, GA 30269

🏅 Half Marathon Details

• Start Time: 8:00am
• Time Limit: 4 hours, cut-off 12:00pm
• Course: Approximately 1.2 miles on paved road and 11.9 miles on rolling, paved golf cart paths.
• Minimum Age: 14 years of age on race day

🏃‍♀️ 5k Details

• Start Time: 8:15am
• Time Limit: 1 hour, cut-off 9:15am
• Course: 0.9 miles of paved street, 2.2 miles of paved, rolling golf cart paths.
• Minimum Age: 6 years of age on race day

⏱️ Race Timing

• Partnership: In partnership with Wire2wire Running.
• Timing Chip: Runners will be timed from start to finish via a disposable timing chip on their race bib.

📦 Packet Pick-Up

• Date: January 13 - January 15, 2026 (Must pick up packets on race day if registered during this period).
• Location: Fleet Feet – Decatur, 431 W Ponce de Leon Ave #1, Decatur, GA 30030.
• On-site: Frederick Brown Jr Amphitheater, January 16 (4:00-8:00pm) and January 17 (6:30-7:45am).

👕 Race Shirts

• Size Selection: Based on size indicated during online registration.
• Distribution: Race shirts may be received during packet pick-up.
• Deadline: Sizes not guaranteed after Thanksgiving, Nov. 27, 2025.

🛡️ Racecourse Support

• Bag Check: Runners can check bags pre-race for post-race layers.
• Restrooms: Port-o-lets available at Expo/finish area and selectively on race course.
• Water Stations: Water & Gatorade provided at water stations on course.
• Medical Support: EMT’s on bikes will patrol the course.

🏅 Finisher Medals

• Medal Distribution: All registered runners who complete the half marathon & 5k will receive a unique finisher’s medal immediately after finishing the race.

🏆 Awards

• Top Finisher Awards: Overall top 3 Male and Female finishers in Open and Masters’ categories.
• 5k Awards: First place overall male and female.
• Age Group Awards: Medals for top three Male and Female finishers in specified age groups.

🚗 Parking

• Frederick Brown Jr Amphitheater: No exit until 8:35am: accessible from Peachtree Parkway.
• Huddleston Elementary School: Access from Peachtree Parkway, one-way only until full.

🐶 Dogs & Strollers

• Policy: For the safety of runners, dogs and strollers are not permitted on the route.

☔ Cancellation / Weather / Refunds

• Event Status: Held rain or shine unless conditions necessitate cancellation.
• Refund Policy: No credits or refunds will be provided upon cancellation.
