Our training programs are designed to have you prepared and ready to run the Lake Run, in either the 3 mile walk, the 4.37 mile or 12K 7.44 mile. The Lake Run is the first Saturday in May.
📅 Training Program Details
- Duration: 9 weeks
- Target Audience: First-time runners and those looking to improve performance
- Experience: Previous participants may become group leaders with decades of experience
- Community: Many repeat "Wave runner" participants return each year

- Date & Time: March 5th, 2025, at 5:30 PM
- Weekly Schedule: Wednesdays at 5:30 PM and designated Saturdays at 8:30 AM
- Location: 305 S Linden, Normal (same building as Vogue Dental)
- Track Availability: Locations may change based on local running track accessibility
💲 Registration Fees
- LRC Member: $50 early, $60 on Feb 15 (discount applied at checkout), includes free Lake Run entry
- LRC Non-Member: $65 early, $80 on Feb 15, includes free Lake Run entry
- T-Shirt: No T-shirt options available at registration
