Lace up your running shoes and join us for The BIG Run, a free 5K fun run in celebration of Global Running Day—brought to you by Brooks! Enjoy music, local coffee, yoga, and more!

Event Details

• Date: 2026-06-14
• Location: 101 Soccer Park Dr, Cary, NC
• Course: Scenic 5K around WakeMed Soccer Park
• Participants: All ages and paces welcome

Schedule

• 7:30am: Warm up with Black Girls RUN!: Pre-run announcements
• 8:00am: The run will begin
• 9:00am - 11:00am: Post-run yoga cooldown with Dean Self from YogaSix
• Activities: Food trucks, music from a local DJ, giveaways from vendors, and much more!

Post-Race Activities

• Finisher Medal: All participants will receive a fun finisher medal
• Yoga: Stretch it out and unwind to the beats of DJ Butta
• Refuel: Enjoy local coffee or a bite from Sipside Coffee’s food truck
• Community: Soak up the good vibes with fellow runners

Important Notes

• Fun Run: This is not a race, it’s a celebratory 5K fun run. There is no official timing or results.
• Course Conditions: The run follows the marked cross country course at Wake Med Soccer Park which is mostly grass and dirt. The course may be difficult to navigate with a stroller.
• Pet Policy: Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed at the park/on the course.
• Note: Bring your friends and family!
