Tidewater Strider Dismal Swamp 100K/ 50K / Marathon and 100K Relay

🏃‍♂️ Welcome to the 5th Annual Dismal Swamp 100K /50K/ Marathon and 100k Relay

This event will take place on our USATF Certified Course! Ranked the Fastest course in Virginia and 47th Fastest in the US by Findmymarathon.com! Huge BQ opportunity!

🏞️ Course Details

• Start Times: The 100k starts at 6 am and the 50k & Marathon starts at 6:45 am.
• Course Description: The course is an out and back 3.88 miles each way for the 100k and 50k.
• Loops: There are 4 loops for 50k and 8 loops for 100k.
• Certification: All courses are USATF Certified.

💧 Fluids and Food

• Aid Stations: 1 full aid station at start/finish after every loop with food, water, and nutrition drinks.
• Water Stations: Water stations will be set up on the course for marathon runners.
• Manned Stations: Manned stations will only be during the Marathon.
• Unmanned Station: An unmanned water station near the 100k/50k turnaround will be available.

🎖️ Amenities & Post-Race

• Finishers’ Items: Medal, Hoodie Sweatshirt, and long-sleeve shirt for Marathon finishers.
• Boston Qualifier: All Runners who qualify for Boston will receive a BQ Shirt!
• Medals: Finishers receive awards for their achievements.

⏳ Time Limits

• Start Times: The 100K starts at 6 AM and the 50K & Full Marathon starts at 6:45 AM.
• Finish Line: The finish line will close at 9 PM.

🏆 Awards

• Overall Awards: Top 3 overall Male and Female will receive awards.
• Age Group Awards: Top male and female in the following Age groups will receive awards: 39 & under, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over.

📝 Registration

• Open Registration: Registration will be open on race day up to Race Start.
• Strider Plus/Legacy Runners: Discount will be applied at checkout.
• Club Membership Discounts: A $5.00 discount is available up until race day.

📦 Packet Pickup

Packet pick up will be at the start line starting at 5:30 am until the 50K & Marathon start!

👥 100K Relay

• Team Registration: When registering, please sign up your team if you are the 1st member.
• Team Size: You can have anywhere from 2 to 8 members on your team!

🏅 Elite Field

New this year we will have an Elite Entry for this year's Race: to receive a Comp Elite Entry you had to have run faster than the time listed below in the last 2 years! if you would like to claim the entry contact Thomas Orangerunning@yahoo.com! We will also have Prize Money for the top Male & Female in the 100k Marathon & 50K.
