Join us for the annual Moms' Run event on Mother's Day weekend, May 10, 2025! This year’s event is a tribute to 25 years of community, resilience, and commitment to supporting mothers in Charleston. With both our beloved 5K run/walk and the 1-mile walk option (back for the second year), there’s an opportunity for everyone to participate and honor this incredible journey.

• Family-friendly: A fun-filled day with activities for all ages including our popular Kids Dash!
• Exclusive Fun: Enjoy a kids activity area featuring a photo booth and a scavenger hunt.

🎽 What You Receive

• Commemorative: A race t-shirt for all participants.
• Swag: A race bag for the first 500 to check in at packet pickup.
• Finisher's Reward: Flowers for all 1-mile and 5K finishers.
• Snacks: Free finish line snacks for everyone!
• Fun Activities: Access to pre- and post-race family fun activities.

📅 Race Details

The race will start and finish at the track at Philip Simmons High School, located at 3080 River Village Drive, Charleston, SC 29492.

This year, we’re not just running and walking: we’re celebrating 25 years of impact. Your participation helps us continue providing essential resources and building a brighter future for mothers and families right here in our community.

📦 Packet Pickup

• May 8th: 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Verde, Belle Hall, 616-A Long Point Rd, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464.
• May 10th: 6:45 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. at Philip Simmons High School.

⏰ Event Day Schedule

• 6:45 a.m. - Event Opens!
• 7:45 a.m. - Kids Dash Start
• 8:00 a.m. - Moms' Run/Walk 5K
• 8:05 a.m. - 1-Mile Walk Start
• 9:30 a.m. - Award Ceremony
• 10:30 a.m. - Event Close

This is a rain or shine event. Please also note that we cannot allow animals at this event.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

• Finisher Medals: Flowers will be given to our finishers in honor of Mother's Day.
• Strollers: Absolutely! This race is very stroller friendly.
• Bikes: No, bikes are not allowed on the course or at the event.
• Pets: No dogs or pets are allowed at the High School or on our race course.
• Packet Pickup on Race Day: Yes, packet pickup will be available starting at 6:45 a.m.
• Picking Up for Friends: Yes, you can pickup for a friend.
• Late Arrival: Please arrive by 7:45 a.m. to ensure you can participate.
• Refund Policy: We are unable to refund your race registration. Please contact us at momsrun@ppdsupport.org for inquiries.
