Moms' Run Event Overview

Join us for the annual Moms' Run event on Mother's Day weekend, May 9, 2026!

• Event Details: Celebrate motherhood with our 23rd annual Moms’ Run event.
• Participation: Choose between our beloved 5K or a 1-mile walk option.
• Support: All proceeds support maternal mental health in our community.
• Family-Friendly: Enjoy activities including a Kids Dash, photo booth, and bubble dome.

Registration Benefits

• T-Shirt: Receive a commemorative race t-shirt.
• Race Bag: First 500 to check in at packet pickup will get a race bag.
• Flowers: All 1-mile and 5K finishers will receive flowers.
• Snacks: Enjoy finish line snacks and access to pre- and post-race activities.

Support for Maternal Health

Your participation directly supports Postpartum Support Charleston’s mission to provide vital resources to moms in our community who are struggling with postpartum depression, anxiety, and other maternal mental health challenges.

• Date: May 9th, 6:45 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. at Philip Simmons High School

Event Day Schedule

• 6:45 a.m.: Event Opens!
• 7:45 a.m.: Kids Dash Start
• 8:00 a.m.: Moms' Run/Walk 5K
• 8:05 a.m.: 1-Mile Walk Start
• 9:30 a.m.: Award Ceremony
• 10:30 a.m.: Event Close

This is a rain or shine event. Please also note that we cannot allow animals at this event.

Frequently Asked Questions

• Finisher Medals: Flowers will be given to our finishers in honor of Mother's Day.
• Strollers: Absolutely allowed as the race is stroller-friendly.
• Bikes: Bikes are not allowed on the course or at the event.
• Pets: No dogs or pets are allowed on the race course.
• Packet Pickup on Race Day: Starts at 6:45 a.m. at Philip Simmons High School.
• Picking Up for Friends: Yes, just inform them.
• Late Arrival: Please arrive by 7:45 a.m. to ensure participation as the venue will be closed once the race starts.
• Refunds: We are unable to refund your registration. Contact us at momsrun@ppdsupport.org for assistance.
