Join us for the annual Moms' Run event on Mother's Day weekend, May 10, 2025!

Join us on May 10, 2025, for the 22nd annual Moms’ Run as we celebrate a milestone: the 25th anniversary of Postpartum Support Charleston! This year’s event is a tribute to 25 years of community, resilience, and commitment to supporting mothers in Charleston. With both our beloved 5K run/walk and the 1-mile walk option (back for the second year), there’s an opportunity for everyone to participate and honor this incredible journey.

This family-friendly day includes our popular Kids Dash, a fun kids activity area featuring a photo booth, and a scavenger hunt. With activities for all ages, the Moms’ Run has something for everyone.

• Race Bag: A race bag for the first 500 to check in at packet pickup.

This is a rain or shine event. Please also note that we cannot allow animals at this event.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Does this race give out finisher medals? Flowers will be given to our finishers in honor of Mother's Day.

Q. Are strollers allowed? Absolutely! This race takes place on the track and out of the road, and is very stroller friendly.

Q. Are bikes allowed? No, we do not allow bikes on the course or at the event.

Q. Can I bring my dog or pet? No, dogs or pets are not allowed at the High School and cannot be permitted on our race course. We love our furry friends just as much as you do, but they'll have to miss out on this event.

Q. Can I pickup my packet on race day? Yes, packet pickup will be open on race morning starting at 6:45 a.m. at Philip Simmons High School.

Q. Can I pickup my friend's packet? Yes, you can pickup for a friend. Just be sure to let them know.

Q. Can I get to the event after the race starts? No, you will not be able to get into the venue once the race has started. This will be a closed course until all runners & walkers have cleared the course. There is only one way in and one way out, so please arrive by 7:45 a.m. to ensure you can participate.

Q. I registered for the race, but cannot attend. Can I get a refund? We are unable to refund your race registration. Please reach out to us at momsrun@ppdsupport.org if you need to reach someone about this.
