Join us for the annual Moms' Run event on Mother's Day weekend, May 9, 2026!

Get ready to run, walk, and celebrate motherhood at our 23rd annual Moms’ Run event! Whether you’re joining our beloved 5K or prefer the 1-mile walk option, there’s a way for everyone to participate and show support for maternal mental health in our community.

This family-friendly morning includes our popular Kids Dash, a fun kids activity area featuring a photo booth and bubble dome, and plenty of pre- and post-race fun. With activities for all ages, the Moms’ Run is more than a race - it’s a celebration of connection, care, and community.

Your participation directly supports Postpartum Support Charleston’s mission to provide vital resources to moms in our community who are struggling with postpartum depression, anxiety, and other maternal mental health challenges.

• Date: May 7th, 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. (Location TBD)
• Date: May 9th, 6:45 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. at Philip Simmons High School, 3080 River Village Drive, Charleston, SC 29492

⏰ Event Day Schedule

• 6:45 a.m. - Event Opens!
• 7:45 a.m. - Kids Dash Start
• 8:00 a.m. - Moms' Run/Walk 5K
• 8:05 a.m. - 1-Mile Walk Start
• 9:30 a.m. - Award Ceremony
• 10:30 a.m. - Event Close

This is a rain or shine event. Please also note that we cannot allow animals at this event.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

• Finisher Medals: Flowers will be given to our finishers in honor of Mother's Day.
• Strollers: Absolutely! This race takes place on the track and out of the road, and is very stroller friendly.
• Bikes: No, we do not allow bikes on the course or at the event.
• Pets: No, dogs or pets are not allowed at the High School and cannot be permitted on our race course.
• Packet Pickup on Race Day: Yes, packet pickup will be open on race morning starting at 6:45 a.m. at Philip Simmons High School.
• Picking Up for Friends: Yes, you can pickup for a friend.
• Late Arrival: No, you will not be able to get into the venue once the race has started.
• Refund Policy: We are unable to refund your race registration.
