Course Description

• Start/Finish: Southbound lane of Clyde Fant Parkway across from the Sci-Port Discovery Center

Registration Fees

• Through May 8th: $25.00
• May 9th - May 22nd: $30.00
• Race Day: $40.00

Packet Pick-up

• Where: Sportspectrum, 6970 Fern Ave., Shreveport, LA 71105
• When:
  • May 20th: 10:00 a.m.—6:00 p.m.
  • May 21st: 10:00 a.m.—6:00 p.m.
  • May 22nd: 10:00 a.m.—5:30 p.m.
  • Race site (May 23): 6:15 a.m. - 7:15 a.m.

Race Packet

• Shirt: Official 42nd Anniversary 2026 Mudbug Madness race T-shirt for pre-registered participants
• Registration: Must register by midnight May 13th to guarantee your shirt size.

Post Party

• Location: Mudbug festival site
• Activities: Live entertainment, food, drinks
• Entry: Free entry into the festival all day long with official race bib number

Awards Ceremony

• Time: Around 8:30 a.m.
• Awards: Overall winner & runner up male & female will receive $100 & $75 Sportspectrum Gift Cards

Awards Divisions

• Adult 5k: Age groups 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
• Kids 5k: Overall and runner-up male & female
• Wheelchair Division: 1st Overall Male & Female

Special Note

• No: Bikes, skate devices, or dogs on the course.
• Baby joggers: Allowed but must start in the back.

Refund & Race Entry Transfer Policy

• Refunds: 100% refund if canceled more than 30 days in advance: 50% refund if canceled between 30 days and two weeks prior.
• Transfers: Allowed for a $10.00 charge if done at least two weeks prior.
