This summer, gear up for the Red, White and Blue Half Marathon—the most exhilarating race to hit the nation! Hosted by Bigfoot Running Company, this event will take you on a breathtaking journey through some of the area’s most beautiful trails, showcasing all the natural beauty your state has to offer.
Race Options
- Adventure Choices: Whether you’re tackling the Kids Dash, sprinting 2 miles, or going for glory in the 4, 8, or 13.1-mile distances, there’s something for everyone!

- Distance: This event is for our little Yetis and is typically about a 50-meter dash, designed for kids 10 and under.

Distance Details
- Kids Dash: Not timed, includes a tee shirt, kids dash medal, and exclusive Kids Dash recognition pin.
- 2 Mile: Not chip-timed, includes a tee shirt and race medal.
- 4 Mile: Chip-timed, includes trophies for 1st overall male and female finishers.
- 8 Mile: Chip-timed, includes trophies for 1st overall male and female finishers.
- Half Marathon: Chip-timed, includes trophies for 1st overall male and female finishers.
Age Group Awards
Standard Age Group Awards for 4 mi / 8 mi / Half Marathon include:
- Trophy: 1st overall M/F
- Special Recognition: 1st overall M/F Masters (age 40+)
- Gold, Silver, Bronze Pins: For various age groups ranging from 10 & under to 70+
Event Schedule
- 5:30–6:40 AM: Packet Pickup ends 20 minutes before the race!
- 6:55 AM: Kids Dash (meet at start line; we’ll walk participants to their area)
- 7:00 AM: National Anthem & Race Start!
- Results and Awards: Live and available immediately after your finish at the registration tent.
Volunteer Opportunities
Sign up under the “VOLUNTEER” tab on the event page. Volunteers earn a Bigfoot race shirt, VIP race access, and their choice of a FREE race entry to a future event or a $20 digital gift card!
- Water Station: Ensure there are water cups filled and ready for participants.
- Course Monitors: Position along the course route at places that require extra attention.
- Finish Line Helper: Assist the Race Director with general finish line tasks.
- Turtle / Sweeper: Encourage the last runner and let water stations know when to begin tear down.
Important Information
Bigfoot races: proceed rain or shine, hot or cold. If an additional packet pickup is scheduled it will be communicated via email to all registered participants a minimum of 1 week before the race.
Course type: Typically held at parks and green belts, with the expectation of mixed surfaces including paved trails, crushed granite, and dirt paths.
