🏃‍♂️ 4-Hour Adventure Race (Run & Paddle Only)

📏 Race Distance:

• 7-12 Miles: Covering land, water, and marsh in Charlotte County, FL

🏆 Categories:

• Solo, Two Person, Three Person, and Four Person Teams: Participate in teams of 1-4

📝 Description:

• Challenging Course: Navigate 7-12 miles using pre-plotted Caltopo maps
• Check Points: Located using natural features, mix of running and paddling
• Family-Friendly: Suitable for children as young as 5 and adventurous parents
• Flexible Race: Choose your distance based on abilities

🛶 Boats:

• Provided Boats: Included in registration: personal boats allowed
• PFDs & Paddles: Provided, but participants can bring their own
• Equipment Responsibility: Personal gear pre-staging required for private boats
• Availability: First come first serve basis

📅 Check-In & Start:

• Check-In: Saturday, March 8th, 2024, 8:30am at Ann & Chuck Dever Regional Park
• Race Start: Saturday at 10:00am

🏃‍♀️ Disciplines:

• Trekking/Trail Running and Kayaking/Canoeing: No biking in this race
• Awards Time: Estimated at 2:15pm for the 4-Hour race
