Vermilion River Run 10 Miler

Event Overview

This is the final race of our Triple Crown Challenge. It is strategically placed on the calendar before many of the spring marathons and half marathons. It is the perfect distance for the build up on your training plan. The event is held at Picard Park in Milton, Louisiana. The tradition will continue and a specialty item, such as a jacket, will be given to those who register. The Must Register by Date is TBD! We will NOT be doing a reorder/reprint.

Race Registration

• Race day registration: Available, but no guarantee of jacket size. Quantities are limited.
• Must register by date: TBD! No reorder/reprint will be done.

Awards

• Cash awards: Given to the TOP THREE OVERALL male and female winners.
• Age group awards: Awards will be given to the top THREE finishers in each age group: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and older.
• Older age groups: Will be added in 10 year increments as needed.
• 5 Mile Option: Runners will turn around 2.5 miles from the start and follow the same route back to the finish. No cash awards for this option, but Top 5 male and Top 5 female runners will receive awards.

Packet Pickup

• Date: December 12 at Adopted Dog Brewing from 12:30pm – 5:30pm.
• Race day pickup: Available from 6:45am to 7:50am.
• Race start: 8am. We STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU MAKE PACKET PICKUP SO RACE DAY RUNS MORE SMOOTHLY.

• Through 5/6: $50
• 5/7-7/29: $55
• 7/30-10/28: $65
• 10/29-12/11: $70
• 12/12-1/13: $75
• Packet Pickup/Race Day: $75

Important Registration Note

Online Race Registration will close on December 13, 2025 at 7am for timing purposes. We will have in person registration at packet pickup and race morning.

Discount for Club Members

An additional $5 will be discounted for Cajun Road Runners Club members (NOT VALID FOR VIRTUAL OPTION).

Race Day Parking

Limited parking: Available at Picard Park - 130 Park Lane. For runner safety, you cannot exit the parking lot until the road has reopened.
