Meche's Mile presented by Tour de Lafayette

🎉 Welcome to the Meche Mile

What’s up friends! I am so stoked to invite you all to the inaugural Meche Mile put on by Tour de Lafayette at Moncus Park on SUNDAY, DECEMBER 8, 2024 at 8:00AM where participants will have the option to run an open mile or a DONUT mile (my preferred option!). I am excited to announce we are partnering with Meche’s Donut King, so participants in the donut mile must finish one Meche’s glazed donut before crossing the starting line and complete a one-mile loop around Moncus Park. Those who wish to run the open mile will start when the gun goes off as normal. This race is all about FUN, MOVEMENT, and COMMUNITY! Bring your family, your friends, and your best self to run, walk or a lil bit of both! The purpose of this race is to encourage you to sign up for that running event without fear. Running can be spooky but this race is about having fun, making memories, PLUS THERE’S DONUTS (if you run the donut mile hehe).

📝 Registration

• Deadline: Registration will close on Thursday, December 5th at 11:59 PM.
• Race Day Registration: There will be no race day registration!

👕 T-Shirt Deadline

• Registration Requirement: TO GET A T-SHIRT YOU MUST REGISTER BY OCTOBER 31, 2024! Happy Halloween!

📅 Event Details

• Donuts: Donuts will be provided by Meche’s Donut King.
• Awards: Awards will be presented by Tri-Running.
• Course: The race will be a 1-mile loop in Moncus Park.
• Start Time: The race will start AT 8:00AM SHARP.

📦 Packet Pickup

• Date: Tri-Running, Saturday, December 7th: 10:00AM-2:00PM.
• Race Morning: 6:45AM-7:30AM.

🏆 Awards

• Top Finishers: Awards for top 3 overall Male and Female in Open Mile.
• Donut Mile: Awards for top 3 overall Male and Female in Donut Mile.
