Brief Description

• Heritage Celebration: Celebrate our great heritage filled with Run, Food, Music, Family, and Fun.
• Community Tradition: Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Opelousas, LA has been baking homemade sweet potato pies and frying cracklin for 30 years.
• Run/Walk Event: Join us for a quick run/walk before indulging in delicious festival foods.

Entry Fees

• 5K Registration: $30 for individuals
• 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk: $25 registration
• Youth Registration: $20 for Ages 1-18 for the 5K or 1 Mile
• Virtual Options: $25 for Virtual 1 Mile, $30 for Virtual 5K

Race Day Information

• Registration Time: 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 a.m.
• T-Shirts: Not guaranteed for Race Day registration.
• Fees: $30 for 5K Run/Walk, $25 for 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk on race day.

Refund and Delay Policy

• No Refunds: There are no refunds for registration.
• Weather Policy: The race will take place rain or shine.
• Director's Right: The race director reserves the right to modify the course or change the start time for safety.

Packet Pick-Up

• Pick-Up Time: Between 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. on race day.

Directions to Race Site

• From Lafayette: I-49 N to exit 19B 190W Opelousas.
• Street Directions: Go through the 1st two red lights on 190W, right at the 3rd red light (Union St.).
• Parking: Park along Union Street or in the parking lot (old Courville Toyota building) across from the church.

The 5K Run/Walk

• Start/Finish: The run will start and finish on the Holy Ghost back parking lot on Congress Street.
