5K Love Run Overview

On Saturday, February 28, 2026 The Child Advocacy Center of Anderson County Tennessee is hosting a 5K Love Run in beautiful Norris, Tennessee. This race will benefit the Children in the Anderson County area.

Children's Advocacy Centers

• Coordination: Children's Advocacy Centers (CACs) coordinate the investigation, treatment, and prosecution of child abuse cases.
• Professionals: Involves multidisciplinary teams of professionals in law enforcement, prosecution, child protective services, and victim advocacy services.
• Services: Provides medical and mental health services for affected children.

Race Details

• Virtual Run: The race will offer a Run Anywhere Virtual Run from 12:00 am February 14, 2026 to 11:59 pm March 1, 2026.
• Course: Participants can run the 5K distance on any course they choose.
• RaceJoy App: The RaceJoy phone application will be available to monitor distance and time.

Timing and Location

• Timing: This event is being timed by Total Race Solutions.
• Event Type: This will be a Run and See Series Event.
• Start Time: The race will start at 9:00 am at Norris Middle School.
• Weather: Sun Shine, Rain or Snow: You never know.

Post-Race Activities

• Hot Chocolate: Following the Race, there will be an abundance of Hot Chocolate for everyone.
• T-Shirts: All pre-registered runners are guaranteed a race day event T-Shirt.
• Water Stations: There will be three aid & water stations on the 5K route.

Awards and Categories

• Top Finishers: The Top Two Male and Female Finishers in the 5K timed event will receive Overall Awards.
• Individual Awards: Top 3 finishers per age group for male and female (10 & under, 11-13, etc.).
• Team Awards: Will be given to the Winner of each Team Category.

Packet Pick-Up

Pre-race Early Packet Pick-Up is on Thursday, February 26, 2026 from 11am – 6pm at Fleet Feet in Knoxville, 11619 Parkside Dr., Knoxville, TN 37934.
