5K Love Run

🏃‍♀️ Event Overview

• Location: 5 Norris Square, Norris, TN
• Organized by: The Child Advocacy Center of Anderson County Tennessee
• Benefit: Proceeds will support children in the Anderson County area

🧸 Children's Advocacy Centers (CACs)

• Purpose: Coordinate investigation, treatment, and prosecution of child abuse cases
• Professionals Involved: Law enforcement, child protective services, victim advocacy, and medical professionals
• Goal: Ensure comprehensive support for affected children

📱 Virtual Run Details

• Run Anywhere Virtual Run: Available from 12:00 am February 14, 2026 to 11:59 pm March 1, 2026
• Distance: Participants can run the 5K on any course of their choice
• RaceJoy App: Used to monitor distance and time for the 5K

🏅 Event Timing and Logistics

• Time Event: Timed by Total Race Solutions
• Start Time: 9:00 am at Norris Middle School
• Weather: Sun, rain, or snow: all conditions are possible
• Post-Race: Abundant hot chocolate for all participants

👕 Race Amenities

• Shirts: Guaranteed for all pre-registered runners
• Water Stations: Three aid & water stations will be available on the route

🏆 Awards

• Overall Awards: Top Two Male and Female Finishers in 5K and Top Finishers in 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
• Individual Awards: Top 3 finishers per age group
• Age Groups: 10 & under, 11-13, 14-16, 17-19, 20-22, 23-25, 26-29, 30-33, 34-37, 38-41, 42-45, 46-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & up
• Team Awards: Awarded to the winner of each team category
