American Cancer Society Relay For Life: Color 5K Run/Walk and 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk

Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Babcock Ranch, starting and finishing in Founder's Square.

🕗 Start Details

• Race Start Time: 8 a.m. at Babcock Ranch, Founders Square, 42850 Crescent Loop, Punta Gorda, FL 33982
• Strollers & Dogs: Strollers and leashed dogs are permitted and must start in the back of the start line.
• Timing: 5K Run/Walk is a professionally chip-timed by Beach Bum Timing. There is no time cap.
• 1-Mile Fun Run: The 1-mile Fun Run/Walk is not timed. You will not receive a bib for this event.

📅 Packet Pickup Information

• Early Packet Pickup: September 4, 2025, from 9 am- 5 pm at Babcock Ranch Lifestyle Office, 42911 Lake Babcock Drive, Punta Gorda, FL 33982.
• Shirt Cutoff Date: August 22, 2025. If you register after 8/22/24, you are not guaranteed a shirt. Extra shirts will be available after the race.
• Race Day Registration: 6:45 am to 7:45 am. 5K cost is $40.00. 1-Mile cost is $30.00. Only credit cards or Apple Pay are accepted: cash is not accepted.
• Age-Based Pricing: Applicable to both events. $20.00 for 18 years old and under.

Awards & Recognition

• Awards Ceremony: There will be an in-person awards ceremony. Awards/shirts will NOT be shipped to participants.
• Overall Awards: To Male & Female finishers in categories: 1st Place Overall, Masters (40+), Grand Masters (50+), Senior Grand Masters (60+), Veteran Grand Masters (70+).
• Age Group Awards: Top 3 M/F finishers in each age category: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
• Local Discounts: Local running club discounts apply. Contact info@beachbumtiming.com if you have questions.

🥤 Post-Race Amenities

• Refreshments: Post-race refreshments will be served.
• Water Stations: Located at the halfway mark on the course and at the end of the finish line.
• Rest Rooms: Located next to the Start Line.
• Parking: Free parking is available in parking areas near Founder's Square.

• Is this a timed race? Yes, the 5K is chip-timed by Beach Bum Timing.
• What is the course? Course map coming soon.
• Are dogs allowed on the course? You may run with your dog, but you assume ALL responsibility for your dog. Leashes must be no more than 6 feet and not retractable.
• Are strollers allowed on the course? Yes.
