Día De Los Muertos 5k Race

Event Overview

Come celebrate Día De Los Muertos (Day Of The Dead) and run a 5k race.

Race Details

• Date and Time: 5k run/walk starts 9am on Saturday November 1st, 2025.
• Location: 2501 New Market Dr, Sacramento, CA at North Natomas Regional Park.
• Path: Fully paved path, strollers are welcome, flat course held on the sidewalk.
• Costumes: Participants are welcome to wear costumes.

Packet Pickup

• When: Saturday November 1st from 7am-8:45am.
• Location: Same location as the race, North Natomas Regional Park.
• Registration Perks: All participants will receive a t-shirt with registration.
• Awards: Top 3 in each age group and top 3 overall in male and female categories will receive ribbons.

Participation Guidelines

• Age Groups: All ages and running/walking abilities are welcome.
• Dog Policy: Only service dogs are allowed, per USATF rules.
• Event Certification: This is a sanctioned race by USA Track and Field.

Fundraising Purpose

This is a fundraiser for the Azteca FC youth Cross Country and track program. Every season members from Azteca FC work hard to qualify for the Junior Olympics. This 5k is a fundraiser to assist the athletes who qualify to attend and compete in the Junior Olympics. In July 2025, Jackson Sevilla and Ethan Tang represented Azteca FC at the Junior Olympics in Savannah, Georgia. Your generous support helps athletes compete at the highest level and gain national recognition to help them earn opportunities to compete at the college level.
