Program Overview

• Presented by: Hartford Healthcare
• Duration: 10 week training program
• Goal: Complete a 5K (3.1 miles)
• Support: Group support, motivation and fun

Training Schedule

• Meeting Days: Two days a week (Saturday and Thursday)
• Saturday Sessions: Begin at 8:30 a.m.
• Thursday Sessions: Begin at 6 p.m.
• Location: Fleet Feet Glastonbury, 63 Hebron Avenue, Glastonbury, CT

Additional Information

• Homework Run: Recommended third run to fit your schedule
• Weather Policy: Training held rain or shine (unless thunder & lightning)
• Weekly Goals: Email updates on training goals
• Pacing: Train at a comfortable pace for individual goals

Coaching and Support

• Coaches: Various coaches available for all pace levels
• Experience: All coaches are previous graduates or current GRR members
• Additional Training: Recommended segments on your own
• 5K Entry: Includes FREE entry into the Race To Fill The Pantry 5K on November 15th

• Capacity: Limited to 50 runners
• Registration: Sign up early!
• Medical Advice: Consult with your physician prior to starting
• Cost: $50 (less than $3 per session)
