Event Overview

• Event: 7th Annual East Carteret High School Band Miles for Music 5K and 1 mile fun run/walk
• Experience: Enjoy beautiful, historic downtown Beaufort with a morning run (or walk) down Front Street

Purpose

• Proceeds: Benefit the East Carteret High School Marching Mariners
• Support: Help purchase and upgrade instruments and band equipment
• Assist: Provide financial assistance to band students
• Additional Needs: Support extra requirements of the band program

Registration Information

• T-shirt Guarantee: Participants registered by April 30th are guaranteed a race t-shirt
• Availability: Registrants after April 30th may receive a t-shirt based on availability
• Encouragement: Don’t delay, register today!
• Participation: Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome

• 5K Female Masters: Ages 40+ (1st, 2nd, and 3rd)
• 5K Male Masters: Ages 40+ (1st, 2nd, and 3rd)
• 5K Female: Ages 18-39 (1st, 2nd, and 3rd)
• 5K Male: Ages 18-39 (1st, 2nd, and 3rd)

• 5K Female: Ages 13-17 (1st, 2nd, and 3rd)
• 5K Male: Ages 13-17 (1st, 2nd, and 3rd)
• 5K Female: Ages 12 and under (1st and 2nd)
• 5K Male: Ages 12 and under (1st and 2nd)

Course Details

• Route: Out and back route offering beautiful waterfront views along Front Street
• Accessibility: Easy, flat course with wheelchair accessibility
• Suitability: Great opportunity for first-time runners

Packet Pick Up

• Race Day: Packet pick up starts at 7:00 am at John Newton Park, 500 Front Street
• Early Pick Up: Available at Periwinkle, 110 Middle Lane, on Friday May 15th from 5pm-8pm
