• Date: May 16, 2026
• Location: 500 Front Street, Beaufort, NC
• Event: 7th Annual East Carteret High School Band Miles for Music 5K and 1 mile fun run/walk
• Experience: Beautiful, historic downtown Beaufort with a morning run (or walk) down Front Street

🎶 Purpose of the Event

• Benefit: Proceeds will directly support East Carteret High School Marching Mariners
• Goals: Help purchase and upgrade instruments and band equipment
• Support: Provide financial assistance to band students
• Enhancement: Support additional needs of the band program

👕 Registration Information

• T-shirt Guarantee: All participants registered by May 1st will receive a race t-shirt
• Availability: Participants registering after May 1st may receive a t-shirt based on availability
• Call to Action: Don’t delay, register today!
• Participation: Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome in both distances

• 5K Female ages 18+: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
• 5K Male ages 18+: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
• 5K Female ages 13-17: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
• 5K Male ages 13-17: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
• 5K Female 12 and under: 1st and 2nd place
• 5K Male 12 and under: 1st and 2nd place

🚶‍♀️ Course Details

• Route: Out and back route with beautiful waterfront views along Front Street
• Accessibility: Easy, flat course with wheelchair accessibility
• Ideal: Great opportunity for first-time runners

📦 Packet Pick Up

• Race Day: Packet pick up is available starting at 7:00 am at John Newton Park
• Address: 500 Front Street, downtown Beaufort waterfront
• Early Pick Up: Available at Periwinkle 110 Middle Lane on Friday, May 15th from 5 pm-8 pm
