🏅 Course Details

• Bridges: Features Gallants Channel (Grayden Paul) Bridge and Turner Street Bridge.
• Type: Run/Walk event, USATF certified and chip-timed.
• Scenic Views: Magnificent views of historic Beaufort, Gallants Channel, and Taylor's Creek.

🐾 Dog Strut Rules

• Participation: Dogs are only allowed in the Dog Strut.
• No Dogs: No dogs allowed in the 5K on the high-rise bridge per the NCDOT!
• Strollers: Strollers are welcome in both events!
• Awareness: Highlighting diabetes awareness and funding for non-profit organizations.

👕 T-Shirt Information

• Shirts: First 200 to sign up will receive a BBR2026 T-shirt!
• Deadline: Register by October 5, 2026 to guarantee size.
• Limits: ONE SHIRT PER PAID PARTICIPANT. FREE T-SHIRTS NOT AVAILABLE FOR RUNNERS UNDER 12 YEARS OLD.
• Pickup: T-shirts must be picked up at early registration or race day. No mailing.

🍻 Post-Race Party

• Location: The legendary Backstreet Pub hosts the post-race party!
• Refreshments: Beer, Mimosas, Bloody Marys available.
• Breakfast: Fabulous breakfast foods at Cru Coffee & Cafe.
• Support: Thanks to Liz Kopf for her support of the Bridge Run and Lions Club!

💰 Fees Details

• Adult: $35 until midnight, November 1st, 2026.
• Under 12: Free.
• Active Military: $30 with ID.
• Post-Deadline: After October 26, 2025 - $40: Military - $35.00.

📅 Registration & Pickup

• Date: November 6th at Cru Wine Bar & Coffee Shop from 4:00pm - 6:00pm.
• Race Day: Pickup from 7:00am - 7:55am at the corner of Middle Lane and Craven Street.
• Registration: ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST REGISTER IN ADVANCE: no in-person registration on race day.
• Online Registration: Still open until 7:55am November 7th!

🏆 Awards

• Categories: 5K Overall Female/Male, Overall Female/Male Master (40+), Oldest & Youngest Awards.
• Age Groups: 12 & Under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
• Dog Strut: Overall Dog Strut awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd places.
• T-Shirts: Available for registered participants, with a limited quantity.

🌟 Community Involvement

• Awareness: Highlighting awareness of diabetes and health effects.
• Sponsorship: Seeking sponsors for non-profit projects benefiting the community.
• Support: Participants engaged in community service and charitable causes.
