Addiction to alcohol and drugs and homelessness are at epidemic portions.

Loaves and Fishes of Beaufort

• Mission: A Beaufort-based, Christ-centered, residential, substance abuse recovery program.
• Services: We provide counseling, shelter, and treatment to men at no cost to them.
• Transition Home: Newly opened for graduates to stay 12 to 18 months while gaining life skills.

Veterans Services of the Carolinas (VSC)

• Support: Assisting Veterans and their families through essential community programs.
• Collaboration: Working with community partners and faith communities.
• Programs: Housing, Employment, Outreach, Peer Support, and Suicide Prevention.

Registration Fees/Dates/Categories

• Individual: $25 per person (by 11/1), $30 thereafter.
• Group/Team: Team of four or more, $15 per person (savings until 11/1), $30 thereafter.
• Military Discount: $15 per person for active military.
• Incentive: Anyone who signs up by November 1 will be entered into our raffle.

Packet Pick-Up Information

• Race Packet Pick-Up: Available on Friday November 13, 2026 at Beaufort by the Sea Community Church from 5-7 pm.
• Morning Pick-Up: Packets can also be collected on the morning of the race.
• Awards Ceremony: Will take place at John Newton Park across Front Street from Clawson’s Restaurant.
• Post-Race Breakfast: A breakfast for runners and walkers will follow the race at Ann Street United Methodist Church (417 Ann St, Beaufort).

Awards/Categories

• Overall Winners: Top three overall male and female finishers will be recognized.
• Age Group Awards: Top male and top female finishers for each age group will receive medals.
• Age Categories: Includes Ages 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.

Course Description

Beaufort has been voted “the coolest small town in America" by Southern Living Magazine. The Race Course is down historic Front Street with its beautiful homes and the oft-seen wild banker ponies across the waterfront. Course certified USATF #NC26019DF.

Family Getaway

Make this a family getaway. Go to Cape Lookout Lighthouse shell collecting. See dozens of ponies on Shackleford Island. Discover dolphins. Kayak islands and waterfront. Beach, surf fish, and Fort Macon.
