Thank you for participating in the National MPS Society Run/Walk, and Post Office Cafe's 33rd Annual 5K & 1K Fun Run. This event will raise awareness and funds for the National MPS Society.

🌟 Remembering Loved Ones

In our community, the Walk/Run will be held at the Post Office Cafe in celebration of Mark and Casey Lessing.

• Mark's Story: In 2010, Mark lost his 20 year battle with the disorder MPS IIIA.
• Casey's Legacy: His sister Casey passed away July, 2016 at the age of 24.
• MPS Disorders: MPS and related diseases are genetic disorders that affect major organs in the body, including the respiratory system, heart, bones, and nervous system.
• Impact on Children: Affecting mostly children, it is caused by the body's inability to produce certain enzymes.

🎗️ Mission and Goals

The National MPS Society's mission is to provide support for individuals and their families affected by MPS or ML.

• Aware & Support: Our goals are to increase public and professional awareness and to support research.
• Cure Objective: The Society's ultimate goal is to find a cure for MPS disorders.
