📍 Location

• Riverfront: Clyde Fant Memorial Parkway, Shreveport, Louisiana

🏃‍♂️ Race Events

• Race Types: The 5K Run, 5K Walk & the 5 Mile Road Race are on a well-lit and mostly flat course.
• Traffic: There will be no vehicular traffic.
• Sanctioned: These races are sanctioned by the Red River Road Runners and the RRCA.

📦 Packet Pick-up

• Location: Sportspectrum, 6970 Fern Avenue in Shreveport.
• Date: Thursday, November 7th from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Friday, November 8th from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Late Pick-up: From 4:00-5:30 p.m. at Riverview Hall, 600 Clyde Fant Parkway, Shreveport.
• Registration: Late Registration will NOT be accepted day of the race.

💵 Fees

• Cost: $30.00 present day to November 9th for 5 Mile Road Race and 5K Run & 5K Walk.

🎽 Packet

• Contents: Includes a unisex long sleeve t-shirt, race number, and a food/beverage coupon.
• Guarantee: Shirts will be guaranteed to those registered by October 30th.
• Pickup: Packets must be picked up as they will not be mailed.

🗓️ Schedule of Events

• 4:30 pm: Buses start running.
• 5:00 pm: Late Packet Pick-up at Riverview Hall.
• 5:40 pm: LAST BUS!
• 6:00 pm: Race Time!! Don't be late.
• 6:30 pm: Post Party Begins with music by Kevin Thomas, dinner, and beverages.

🏆 Awards

• 5 Mile Road Race: Open Overall Male/Female ($250), Masters, Grand Masters, Senior Grand Masters, and Legends will receive awards.
• 5K Run & Walk: Open Overall Male/Female, age groups from 8 & under to 65 and older will receive awards.
• Note: No Chip, No Ride, No Time, No Award!

🚗 Parking & Hotel Accommodations

• Race Day: The Parkway will be closed for the race, parking is only at the North end of the Parkway in the lots located Sci-Port.
• Hotels: Contact the Shreveport-Bossier Convention & Tourists Bureau for hotel and motels: 318-222-9391.

🎉 Post Race Party

• Location: A finish line party will be held inside Riverview Hall.
• Activities: Enjoy food, beverages, music, and awards! (Remember: Expect the Unexpected!)

⚠️ Cancellation Policy

• Policy: If the event has to be cancelled, we will allow participants to defer to 2025.
