- Beautiful Scenery: Breathe in the beauty as you move beneath towering oak trees and across lush, century-old grounds.
- Historical Significance: This is only the second time in over 100 years that the park has opened its fairways for a run or walk.
- Community Involvement: A wonderful opportunity to be part of a little slice of Shreveport history.
- All Paces Welcome: Whether you’re a runner, a walker, or pushing a stroller, you’re warmly encouraged to join the fun.
Event Highlights
- Food and Drinks: Door Prizes, Breakfast, Squirrel Bait. Plus, Soft Drinks, Water, and Beer will be served.
- Support Local Causes: Proceeds from the race will benefit the Querbes Park Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing the park.
- Race Schedule: The Fun Run starts at 7:30 am, followed by the 5K at 7:45 am.
- Course Details: The predominantly flat and easy course will meander along the paths and fairways of the entire park.
