Event Details
- Location: 3500 Beverly Place, Shreveport, LA
- Park Partnership: The Querbes Park Foundation, in partnership with Shreveport Parks and Recreation
- Course Experience: Running beneath towering oak trees and across lush, century‑old grounds
- Historical Significance: This is only the second time in over 100 years that the park has opened its fairways for a run or walk
Participation Information
- Inclusivity: All paces welcome! Runners, walkers, and those pushing strollers are encouraged to join.
- Experience: Explore, enjoy, and be part of a little slice of Shreveport history.
- Refreshments: Door Prizes, Breakfast, Squirrel Bait, Soft Drinks, Water, and Beer will be served.
- Proceeds: Benefits will go to the Querbes Park Foundation, dedicated to preserving and enhancing the park.
Race Schedule
- Fun Run Start: 7:30 am
- 5K Start: 7:45 am
- Course Type: Predominantly flat and easy course along the paths and fairways of the park
- Shaded Areas: The course will be under the shade of iconic oak trees.

- T-Shirt: All participants will receive a T-shirt.
