One Small Step to Build a Stronger Community!
The Space Race 3K is a walk/run throughout Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex that benefits United Way of Brevard. The walk/run journeys participants through the historic Rocket Garden featuring nine authentic rockets, the booster stack that graces the entryway to Space Shuttle Atlantisยฎ and to Heroes & Legends featuring the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fameยฎ.
Winners in each category will receive their award from a veteran NASA astronaut. After the race, enjoy a beer at the after-race party!
This family-friendly event is open to guests of runners for a suggested donation of $5 to the United Way.
Proceeds will benefit the United Way of Brevard. More than 82,000 people live in poverty in Brevard, experiencing challenges with hunger, homelessness, domestic violence and health. United Way knows that prevention is key! They leverage resources and partnerships to improve the efficiency and capacity of services in our region. These services create measurable impact in our communities.
