The Pilot Club of Denham Springs invites you to be a part of Pound the Pavement for Pilot 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run. Our mission is to transform communities by developing youth, providing service, education and uplifting families. Pilots focus on providing projects and services which help those with special needs and brain related disorders.
📅 Event Details
- Date: November 15, 2025
- Time: Kicks off at 8 am, rain or shine
- Location: Municipal Oaks Pavilion, 941 Government Street, Denham Springs, LA 70726
- Registration: Register for the 5K and gain entry to the 1 Mile Fun Run (only kiddos can win the 1 mile!)
💡 Proceeds Benefit
Proceeds from our events are used to fund projects such as:
- Kidz Korner Playland
- “Challengers” ballfield for children with special needs
- Mighty Moms
- Fans for the elderly through Livingston Parish Council on Aging
👕 Shirt Guarantee
The deadline to register is Sunday, November 9, 2025 by midnight to receive an event shirt. Any registration after this time, an event shirt will not be guaranteed.
📦 Packet Pickup
- Location: Covington & Associates, 1110 S. Range Ave.
- Date: Friday, November 14, from 3-5:30 pm
- Race Day Pickup: Available from 7 - 8 am before the race
🏆 Awards
Awards will be given 3 deep in all age groups with an Overall Male and Female, Masters (40 - 49) and Grand Masters (50 & over) Male and Female. Fun Run Awards will be given to top 3 runners ages 12 & under.
The age groups for 5K are as follows:
- 14 & Under
- 15-19
- 20-29
- 30-39
- 40-49
- 50-59
- 60 & up
