About Adam Holten
- Significance: Suicide is the SECOND leading cause of death for ages 10-24.
- Impact: Adam's death on Dec 26, 2018 impacted family, friends, and the community.
- Legacy: Strides for Adam non-profit continues to honor his memory.
- Goal: To keep Adam's legacy of service to others alive.
Pricing Information
- Adults: $30 early registration (until March 15th), $35 (until March 28th), $40 on Race Day.
- Youth: $25 early registration (until March 15th), $30 (until March 28th), $35 on Race Day.
- Group Discount: $5 off for groups of 3 or more registering together.
- Finisher Medals: Each participant will receive a medal and t-shirt.
Race Swag and Symbolism
- Medal Design: Honeycomb shape, race colors black and yellow.
- Honeycomb Significance: Represents community working together.
- 16 Bees: Symbolize Adam's age at his passing and his fascination with bees.
- Community Impact: Supports high school graduates pursuing service careers.
Awards
- Overall Awards: Trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall male and female runners.
- Age Group Awards: Custom medals for 1st place, plaques for 2nd and 3rd in each age group.
- Walk Awards: Trophies for top male and female walkers.
- Ceremony Time: Award ceremony held at 10:00 am after the race.
Packet Pickup
- Early Pickup: March 26-28 at Total Runner, 15265 Dix Toledo Rd., Southgate, MI.
- Race Day Pickup: Starting at 7:30 am at race location.
- T-shirts: Guaranteed to early registrants through March 15th.
- Virtual Event: Shirts and medals mailed out if you register for the virtual race.
Results
- Live Results: Available during the event and posted on the Run Signup page.
- Virtual Results: Can be submitted online after completing your run/walk.
