Athletes will be charmed by the small-town feel of the Playa Del Rey beach community located south of Venice Beach and north of Manhattan Beach.

🚗 Race Day Convenience

• Location: Quick Sunday morning drive to Playa del Rey, parking next to the transition along Dockweiler Beach.
• Packet Pick-Up: Speedy morning packet pick-up providing athletes the opportunity to spend the morning focused on getting race ready.
• Safety: A full cadre of lifeguards from LA Beaches & Harbors and LAPD Traffic Officers are getting ready to keep athletes safe in the water and on the roads.
• Traffic Control: Thousands of barricades, signs and cones are deployed on the bike and run course per the traffic control plan.

🏅 Event Options

• Variety: 14 EVENT OPTIONS including 7 Olympic distance events and 7 Sprint distance events.
• Types of Events: Triathlon, Triathlon Relay, RunBikeRun, SwimBike, SwimRun, 1640 Yard Swim & 10K Run or 400 yard Swim & 5K Run.
• Team Participation: Triathlon Relay allows for 2 or 3 athletes combined to complete the triathlon.
• Course Details: Typically, the swim and run distances are standard but the bike distance varies from race to race.
