Summer Day 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

It's time for our Summer Day 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon fun run/walk!!!

🕖 Check-in and Start Times

• Check-in: 7-7:30AM for everyone
• Start: 7:30AM
• Half Marathon Cut-off: 10:45AM
• Early Start: Option to start early to finish by 10:45AM, please email for early start at abetterworldrunning@gmail.com

📍 Event Location

• Address: 5400 E. Ocean Blvd. Long Beach, CA 90803
• Check-in Location: Closest to 54th Place, start of the beach path. NOT near Claremont Ave.
• GPS Advisory: Do not use Apple Maps: use Google Maps or Waze app
• Map: There is a photo of the map on the website -- www.abetterworldrunning.com

🚻 Parking and Facilities

• Carpooling: Please plan on carpooling and arriving early to find parking.
• Restrooms: Bring toilet paper just in case as beach restrooms are not always fully stocked.
• Facilities: Numerous restrooms and water fountains along the course.
• Post-Race: Free pictures for everyone posted on our Facebook page after the event!

🏅 Race Details

• 5k: Out and back route Link here
• 10k: 2 x 5k loops
• 15k: 3 x 5k loops
• Half Marathon: 3 x 4.36 mi loop Link here

✨ Final Notes

• Strollers: Running/walking with a stroller is allowed.
• Time Limit: 3:15 time limit for the half marathon: contact us for early start if needed.
• Finishers: ALL finishers get a medal.
• Results: All results will be posted after the event at www.abetterworldrunning.com
