Summer Time/Summer Break 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

It's time for our Summer Time/Summer Break 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon fun run/walk!!!

🕔 Check-in and Start Times

• Check-in: 7-7:30 AM for everyone
• Start: 7:30 AM
• Half Marathon Cutoff: 10:45 AM, option to start early to finish by 10:45 AM
• Email for Early Start: abetterworldrunning@gmail.com

📍 Location Details

• Address: 5400 E. Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90803 (off of 54th Place and Ocean Blvd.)
• Check-in Location: Check in at the tables closest to 54th Place, at the start of the beach path. NOT near Claremont Ave.
• GPS Note: Do not use Apple Maps app as a GPS, use Google Maps or Waze app.
• Map Available: There is a photo of the map on the website -- www.abetterworldrunning.com

🚻 Event Logistics

• Parking: Please plan on carpooling and getting there early to find parking.
• Restrooms: Bring toilet paper just in case as the beach restrooms are not always fully stocked that early in the morning.
• Results Posting: All the participants will have their results posted with their names and times.
• Photos: FREE pictures for everyone posted on our Facebook page after the event!

🏅 Race Course Information

• 5k Route: 5k out and back route - View here
• 10k Route: 2 x 5k loops
• 15k Route: 3 x 5k loops
• Half Marathon Route: 3 x 4.36 mi loop - View here

👶 Additional Information

• Stroller Policy: Running/walking with a stroller is allowed.
• Time Limit: 3:15 time limit for the half marathon.
• Early Start Requests: Email us at abetterworldrunning@yahoo.com for early start if more time is needed.
• Finisher Medals: ALL finishers get a medal. Results will be posted after the event on our website.
