🏃♀️ Race Overview
ABWR has teamed up with two local charities to help with fire relief efforts. Portion of proceeds will go to California Community Foundation and Pasadena Humane Society.
It's time for our Labor Day 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon fun run/walk!
🕔 Schedule
- Check-in: 7-7:30AM for everyone
- Start: 7:30AM
- Half Marathon Cut Off: 10:45AM, option to start early

📍 Location Details
Address - Please check in at the tables closest to 54th Place, at the start of the beach path. NOT near Claremont Ave. Long Beach path in Belmont Shores -- 5400 E. Ocean Blvd. Long Beach, CA 90803 (off of 54th Place and Ocean Blvd.) Please do not use Apple Maps app as a GPS: use the Google Maps or Waze app. There is a photo of the map on the website -- www.abetterworldrunning.com.
🚻 Planning Your Visit
- Parking: Please plan on carpooling and getting there early to find parking.
- Restrooms: Bring toilet paper just in case as the beach restrooms are not always fully stocked that early in the morning.
- Results Posting: All participants will have their results posted with their names and times.
- Free Photos: Pictures will be posted on our Facebook page after the event!
🏅 Race Routes
- 5k: Out and back route - View Route
- 10k: Two 5k loops
- 15k: Three 5k loops
- Half Marathon: Three 4.36 mi loops - View Route
👶 Additional Information
Running/walking with a stroller is allowed. 3:15 time limit for the half marathon. If more time is needed, please email us at abetterworldrunning@gmail.com for early start.
ALL finishers get a medal. All results will be posted after the event on our website usually the evening of the event on www.abetterworldrunning.com.
