🦃 Race Description

The Green Professionals Association (GPA) presents its 13th Annual Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk and 1-Mile Fun Run. Please join us on Thanksgiving Morning!

• Cap: This race is capped at 650 runners, so please register early.
• Purpose: The Turkey Trot raises money for college scholarships for Green High School seniors.
• Donations: To date, GPA has donated over $41,000 in college scholarships to Green High School seniors.

📅 Event Details

• Event: 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
• Where: 1737 Steese Road., Green, Ohio, 44685. This is at the Green Memorial Stadium. Exit Route 241 at Steese Rd. Please park at the stadium before 7:20am. The school parking lots will be closed for the day. All traffic after 7:20 will be directed to Town Park Center.
• When: Thursday, November 27, 2025, at 7:30AM (1 mile) and 8:00AM (5K).

💲 Registration Costs

5K Costs:

• Preregistered: $30. Pre-registration ends on Wednesday, November 12th at 5:00 PM.
• Regular: $35. Regular registration starts on Wednesday, November 12th at 5:01 PM and ends November 25th at 5:00 PM. There will be no day of race registrations this year.

1-Mile Costs:

• Preregistered: $15. Pre-registration ends on Wednesday, November 12th at 5:00 PM.
• Regular: $20. Regular registration starts on Wednesday, November 12th at 5:01 PM and ends November 25th at 5:00 PM. There will be no day of race registrations this year.

🎟️ Packet Pick-Up

• Early Packet Pickup: Highly Recommended between November 13th – November 26th at Green Family YMCA located at 3800 Massillon Rd, Uniontown, OH 44685.
• Hours: Monday- Thursdays- 6am – 8pm: Fridays- 6am – 7pm: Saturdays- 8am – 4pm: Sundays- 1pm – 4pm.

🏅 Race Day Information

• Location: Green Memorial Stadium located at 1737 Steese Rd, Uniontown, OH 44685.
• Date & Time: Thursday, November 27th from 6:30 am – 7:15 am.
• Note: The stadium will not open until 6:30 am on November 27th.

🏆 Awards

5K: Prizes for top 3 Male & Female in each class and top 3 Male & Female Overall. Age brackets are- 14 & under, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & up. 1 Mile: Top 4 finishers.

Please note that there will be a drawing for other prizes at the end of the race. Bring CANNED GOODS for tickets (3 items = 1 ticket)! All canned food will be donated to the Akron-Canton Foodbank.
