61st Annual Captain Zinn Memorial 5K Races

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Date: Sunday, April 13th, 2025
• Location: Dorbrook Park, 353 County Road 537, Colts Neck, N.J.
• Pbib and T-shirt pickup: By the playground.
• Details: The event honors all Vietnam Veterans and is named in memory of Captain Ronald Lloyd "Ron" Zinn.

🎖️ Registration Information

• Discount: Advance registration is 50% off for all veterans and military personnel.
• Eligibility: Contact us for a discount code.
• T-Shirts: The first 200 people to pick up their bibs receive an event t-shirt.
• Shore A.C. Members: Current and lifetime members receive a discount at registration.

• 9:30 AM: Kids Fun Run Starts
• 9:55 AM: National Anthem and Veterans' Recognition
• 10:00 AM: 5K Run Starts
• 10:02 AM: 5K Race Walk & Walk Starts

🏆 Awards

• Top Finishers: Awards for the top 3 male and female finishers in the 5K race.
• Racewalk Awards: Top 3 male and female finishers for the 5K racewalk.
• Military Awards: Top 3 male and female military personnel/veterans.
• Age Group Awards: Top 3 finishers in each age group for the 5K race.

🏞️ Course Description

• Loop Details: The 5K course includes one smaller and one larger loop.
• Path: Paved path at scenic Dorbrook Park.
• Traffic: Entirely closed to vehicular traffic.

🌐 Virtual Race Option

• Registration: Available for those unable to join in person.
• Race Shirt: Mailed to those registered by March 20.
• Result Submission: Results must be submitted before midnight on April 13.
• Top Finishers: Recognition for top virtual race finishers and awards sent post-race.
