One of Roanoke's most loved and luckiest races is back with the Shamrock Hill Run on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 9:00 am!

🏃‍♂️ Race Details

Brought to you by Roanoke Catholic School, our 5K and 1-miler gives you a healthy, fun start to all of Roanoke's St. Patrick's Day weekend festivities.

• Start & End: Both races will start and end at Roanoke Catholic.
• New Route: Features an all-new route that winds its way through Gainsboro and Lick Run Greenway.
• Awards: Medals awarded in all men’s and women’s age groups.
• Costumes: Special prizes for the best St. Patrick’s Day costumes following the race.

🎉 Awards Ceremony

Join us for a Celtic-themed awards ceremony in Roanoke Catholic’s Gillespie Family Gymnasium. Participants as well as the general public are invited.

📅 Registration Details

• Early Registration: Until February 28 at 3:00 pm: $30.
• Late Registration: After February 28: $35.
• Race Shirts: Guaranteed for all who register by March 7, though we will do our best to accommodate all registrations.

📦 Packet Pickup

• Date: Friday, March 13, 3:00-7:00 pm at Roanoke Catholic's Gillespie Family Gymnasium.
• Race Day Pickup: Starting at 8:00 am on the morning of the race.

All proceeds benefit Roanoke Catholic School, which is dedicated to the education of the whole person, blending learning with faith and faith with daily life.
