One of Roanoke's most loved and luckiest races is back with the Shamrock Hill Run on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 9:00 am!

🏃‍♂️ Race Details

Brought to you by Roanoke Catholic School, our 5K (and this year it really is a 5K!) and 1-miler gives you a healthy, fun start to all of Roanoke's St. Patrick's Day weekend festivities.

📍 Course Information

• Start and Finish: Both races will start and end at Roanoke Catholic.
• Course: Features an all-new route that winds its way through Gainsboro and Lick Run Greenway.
• Awards: Medals will be awarded in all men’s and women’s age groups.
• Costumes: Special prizes for the best St. Patrick’s Day costumes during the Celtic-themed awards ceremony in Roanoke Catholic’s Gillespie Family Gymnasium.

🕒 Timing and Registration

• Chip Timing: Race chip-timing provided by Run Roanoke.
• Registration Fees: Registration through February 28 at 3:00 pm is $30. Registration after is $35.
• Shirts: Race shirts are guaranteed for all who register by March 7.
• Packet Pickup: Friday, March 13, 3:00-7:00 pm at Roanoke Catholic's Gillespie Family Gymnasium and starting at 8:00 am the morning of the race.

All proceeds benefit Roanoke Catholic School, which is dedicated to the education of the whole person, blending learning with faith and faith with daily life.
