Sunday, Sept 28, 2025 @: The Wakeman Boys &: Girls Club in Southport, CT

Held annually on the last Sunday of every September, Bigelow Tea Co., a third-generation family-owned business based in Fairfield Connecticut strives to strengthen the ties we share with our community to support local non-profit organizations to provide spaces for youth development, mentorship and recreation.

🏅 Event Details

• 5k Fun Run: Computer chip timed 5k event with awards for overall champions.
• 3 Mile Walk: Non-competitive walking event: not timed and no awards.
• Kids Scamper/Obstacle Course: For kids 10 and under, with fun activities and awards!
• Last Year’s Success: Over $182,000 raised for CT local non-profit organizations!

🎽 Registration Includes

• Race T-shirt: A stylish shirt to commemorate the event.
• Goodie Bag: A heavy bag filled with treats from local and sustainable partners.
• Raffle Ticket: A chance to win exciting prizes after the race.
• Additional Prizes: Top three finishers in each age group win special prizes.

📅 Important Dates &: Event Times

• Saturday, September 27th: Pre-registration pickup at Bigelow Tea from 9:00am - 12:00pm.
• Sunday, September 28th:
• 8:00am: Bib pickup opens.
• 9:00am: Kids' Fun Run begins.
• 10:10am: 5K Run &: 3K Walk begin.
• 10:30am: Snacks & hydration! Free Beer for ages 21 and up!
• 11:00am: Awards/Raffle begin. You must be present to win!

📝 Event Information

• 5K Run: Chip-timed with awards for overall champions.
• 3K Fitness Walk: Non-competitive: no awards: walk at your own pace.
• Kids' Fun Run: Includes a 100-yard scamper and 1-mile jog with awards and snacks.
• Virtual Event Options: Participate virtually and use #BigTeaCC on social media.
