Florence Freedom 5K

🏃‍♀️ Race Overview

Simply Timing is excited to host the 3rd annual Freedom Florence 5K on Friday, July 4, 2025. The race will take place on the very flat and very fast Run Like a Nut course in downtown Florence, SC. All runners will be provided with finish medals, cooled towels, and post-race concessions. Part of the proceeds will go to support the McLeod Foundation. This race will be a double points grand prix event. Come on out and celebrate America's birthday by starting a new family tradition with us by showing up and dressing out this July 4th!!!

• Announcements and National Anthem: 7:20am
• 5K Starts: 7:30am
• 1 Mile Walk/Run: 7:35am
• 5K Awards: 8:40am

🏅 Finisher Medals

All 5K runners receive a custom finisher medal.

• Pre-Registration: All runners who pre-register before June 1 will receive a red shirt or red tank top.
• Tank Tops: Available only for pre-registered runners.
• Shirt Availability: Shirts and sizes are not guaranteed for registrants after June 1.

• Early Registration (before May 31): $25
• June 1 and After: $30

• Music: Not recommended, but yes, they can listen.
• Pets: Yes, pets are welcome.
