Simply Timing is excited to host the 3rd annual Freedom Florence 5K on Friday, July 4, 2025. The race will take place on the very flat and very fast Run Like a Nut course in downtown Florence, SC. All runners will be provided with finish medals, cooled towels, and post-race concessions. Part of the proceeds will go to support the McLeod Foundation. This race will be a double points grand prix event. Come on out and celebrate America's birthday by starting a new family tradition with us by showing up and dressing out this July 4th!!!

- Packet Pickup: Starts at 6:30am
- Announcements and National Anthem: 7:20am
- 5K Starts: 7:30am
- 1 Mile Walk/Run: 7:35am
- 5K Awards: 8:40am
🏅 Participant Perks
- Custom Finisher Medal: All 5K runners receive a custom finisher medal.
- T-Shirts: All runners who pre-register before June 1 will receive a red shirt or red tank top. Tank tops can only be chosen for pre-registered runners ONLY. Shirts and shirt sizes are not guaranteed for registrants after June 1.
- T-Shirt Sizes: Youth: XS, S, M, L: Adult: XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL.
- 5K Awards: Top 3 Overall Male and Female, Top 3 Masters Male and Female, Top 3 Male and Female in each Age Group.

💵 Registration Fees
- April 1 - May 15: $35
- May 15 - July 3: $40
- Day of Registration: $45
1 Mile Run/Walk Fee: Early Registration before May 31st: $25: June 1st and After $30.

- Strollers: Yes, strollers are welcome.
- Music: Not recommended, but yes they can.
- Pets: Yes, pets are welcome.
- Parking Restrictions: There are no parking restrictions.
- Age Restrictions: There are no age restrictions.
