10th Annual Milford Moves for Veterans 5K

Successful Change: We moved our race weekend a week later last year and it worked out great!
Fundraiser: Join us for a great fundraiser honoring local Veterans.
Appreciation: We appreciate all of you who made it to our family-friendly event.
Proceeds: All proceeds will be donated to Milford's Veterans groups: American Legion, Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) and Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association (CVMA).

Contribution: Please consider a donation of any amount to help our veterans in Milford.
Inclusive: We encourage all abilities to join us. You’ll love our course!
Compliance: This event will be held in compliance with State of CT, city, and health department guidelines.
Parking: Plenty of parking in nearby lots at The Milford Bank on the green, and Colony Grill parking lots (no parking on the racecourse).

Chip Timing: The 5k Run/Walk is bib chip-timed from the start & finish - you receive your ‘net’ time from ‘Last Mile Racing’.
Prizes: All runners & walkers completing the entire 5k are eligible for prizes based on their time.
Fun Run: A free Kids “Run For The Flag” Fun Run for kids 10 and younger. All kids receive a flag and medal at the finish.
Swag Giveaway: A special swag giveaway is guaranteed to the first 350 entrants.

Capacity: Registration closes at 350 people, so sign up before it’s too late!
Online Registration: Closes once we are full but will be open on Race Day if there is room. There is no paper registration/cash taken on race day.
Pricing: March 21 - March 31: $30 age 19 & over: $20 age 18 & under April 1 - June 15: $33 / $20 June 16 - June 23: $35 / $20
Military Free: U.S. Military and Veterans are free unless sold out. Military info required at checkout.

Commemorative T-shirt: A great short sleeve commemorative t-shirt with size guaranteed to pre-registered by June 9.
Post-Race Snacks: Snacks will be provided after you’re done.
Course Highlights: Click here for course highlights - great water views, 95% flat, quiet roads.

New Pickup Day: Friday June 20 from 3pm-5pm at the Milford Bank, 33 Broad St.
Saturday June 21: 9am - 11am Bib Pick-up & swag at The Milford Bank, 33 Broad Street.
Sunday June 22: 7:30 am - 8:55 am: Bib Pick-up & swag at Lisman Landing, 37 Helwig St., Milford CT.
Race Start: 8:40 am Kids “Run For The Flag” and 9:00 am 5K Run/Walk start.

Gift Cards: Special Woodbridge Running Company gift cards for Top M, F & Nb Champions.
1st Place Prizes: Woodbridge Running Company 1st place age group GC AWARDS to all 19 & older groups.
Medals: Medals will be awarded to M, F 2nd, 3rd in all age groups & kids 18 & under.
Age Groups: 9 & under, 10-13, 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ (80’s if prereg’d).

Registration Limit: There will be a 350 person limit for this 5k event.
Safety: If you are truly at a speedy running level, be at the start early to avoid crowding on the course.
Stay Safe: We ask you to stay safe, run on the left side of the road or as indicated.
