10th Annual Milford Moves for Veterans 5K

The MILFORD BANK and the MILFORD MOVES FOR VETERANS event committee are extremely happy to host our annual event! We are looking forward to seeing you again at our safe run & walk!

🎉 10th Annual MILFORD MOVES FOR VETERANS

🗓 5K Run / Walk on Sunday, June 22, 2025

🌟 EVENT DETAILS

• Family-friendly event: Join us for a great fundraiser honoring local Veterans.
• Beneficiary: Proceeds will support Milford's Veterans groups including American Legion, DAV, VFW, VVA, and CVMA.
• Encouragement: All abilities are welcome to join our course!
• Safety: This event will comply with State of CT, city, and health department guidelines.

🏃‍♂️ RACE DETAILS

• Timing: The 5k Run/Walk is bib chip-timed from the start & finish - receive your ‘net’ time from ‘Last Mile Racing’.
• Prizes: All runners & walkers completing the entire 5k are eligible for prizes based on their time.
• Parking: Plenty of parking in nearby lots, at The Milford Bank on the green, and Colony Grill parking lots.
• Kids Fun Run: A free, non-competitive “Run For The Flag” Fun Run for kids 10 and younger – all kids receive a flag and medal at the finish.

💻 REGISTRATION INFO

• Registration limit: 350 participants, sign up early to avoid missing out.
• Online registration: March 21 - June 15 for $30: $20 for ages 18 & under: fees increase after this period.
• Military & Veterans: U.S. military and veterans are free unless sold out: military info needed at checkout.
• Short Distance Kids Run: Free for ages 10 and under.

🎁 GIVEAWAYS

• Swag: A great short sleeve commemorative t-shirt is guaranteed to pre-registered by June 8.
• Snacks: Complimentary snacks available post-race.
• Special Awards: “Most Patriotic Award” at the start, show off your stars and stripes!
• Gift Cards: Special Woodbridge Running Company gift cards for top champions.

📅 EVENT SCHEDULE

• Pickup Day: Friday, June 20 from 3pm-5pm at The Milford Bank, 33 Broad St.
• Saturday, June 21: Bib pick-up & swag from 9am - 11am.
• Sunday, June 22: Bib pick-up from 7:30 am - 8:55 am at Lisman Landing.
• Race Start: Kids Fun Run at 8:40 am and 5K at 9:00 am.

🏆 AWARD DETAILS

• Medals: Awards to overall winners and top finishers in all age groups.
• Age Groups: Categories include 9 & under, 10-13, 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
• Discount: 10% discount at Woodbridge Running Company for participants presenting their bib.
• Shirts Sale: Shirts are for sale to support our veterans - click here to purchase.
